1965 John Deere At Auction

On Machinery Pete, a 1965 John Deere 110 sold for $4250.  It was nice, but someone must have gotten caught up into the bidding frenzy.

Thats some crazy money! I think a couple of things go on there. One is that sometimes those tractors at auction are from an estate and a family member is buying to keep grandpa's tractor in the family. Or maybe when you look at the price of new tractors today, those prices are just a drop in the bucket for an older farmer looking to take something to shows.

I have a 66 110 with original lights & tires that looks just as good as that one. I'd sell it for $4,000.......a real bargain!!!!!!!
