cpic1 0 #1 Posted April 6, 2018 I have a 417-A. Can I use any slot clevis hitch or are they different?
Tankman 3,518 #2 Posted April 6, 2018 (edited) I believe you can. Let's see what the Jockey's say. Betting they agree. Haven't used one in years but, welded flatbar to many implements to fit the slot hitch. Here's the slot hitch adaptor. the vendor has more. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Toro-Wheel-Horse-Slot-Hitch-Adapter/222900779564?epid=941808571&hash=item33e5ebfa2c:g:ZNkAAOSwNgxWDI~H Edited April 6, 2018 by Tankman
wallfish 16,985 #3 Posted April 6, 2018 (edited) Any Wheel Horse slot hitch will fit. It attaches to the 3/4" pin where the spacers are now for the draw bar. Edited April 6, 2018 by wallfish

Ed Kennell 38,022 #6 Posted April 6, 2018 Yes, they both fit like John said by removing the spacers. There was a long debate some time back about the nomenclature of the two different style hitches.
