Stealth126 54 #1 Posted March 30, 2018 Hello everyone, first time horse owner here. I have a lot of questions, but I'll start with this one. Is there a such thing as a bracket or hook to attach to the rear of your mower deck to hold it off the ground? So I could haul my wagon without dragging the wheels on my deck? Thanks.
953 nut 55,076 #2 Posted March 30, 2018 The rear of the mower will attach to the lift via a chain.
Stealth126 54 #3 Posted March 30, 2018 Is that the way it is supposed to work? Because when I lift the deck only the front comes up. Am I missing something on my setup?
Stealth126 54 #4 Posted March 30, 2018 Or would that be a custom setup?

Stealth126 54 #7 Posted March 30, 2018 This is the deck I have. Thank you very much. I'll have to climb under it and check my setup and see if anything needs to be adjusted.
Stealth126 54 #8 Posted March 30, 2018 Thanks everyone for the welcome. I sure am proud of my 1067. Cleaned it up, changed the fluids, cleaned the carburetor, installed a light switch, and it's ready for grass.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,032 #10 Posted March 30, 2018 The decks had improvements made to them over the years making it hard to positively identify the model without an actual model number on the deck. As improvements were made to the spindle assemblies the newer designs were also available for older decks so they may have been upgraded. The same basic design was used for years. Here is a list of the decks in the order they were produced so you can check others. DNA 5-1001 replaces RL-426, 5-1421, 5-1422, 5-1423, 5-1000 5-1001 replaced by 1973-74 model 5-1010, 5-1011, 5-1012, 65-42MS01, 65-42MS02, 1977 model 75-42MS01 (Blades up to this point had a 5/8" x 3/4" double-D center hole) (The following decks used blades with a 3/4" center hole) 1977 model 75-42MS02, 85-42MS01, 95-42MS00, 95-42MS01, 05-42MS01, 05-42MS02, 05-42MS03, 05-42MS04, 05-42MS05, 15-42SC01, 15-42SC02, 15-42SC03/78345 Garry
Stealth126 54 #11 Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) I did a little digging around today and found the problem. I didn't have the height adjustment lever nut tightened enough. The deck was pulling up high enough to touch the stopper, but that was it. After I tightened it more, it pulled the deck to the stopper and then the lever action of the engaged stopper pulled the back of the deck 1/2 inch off the ground. Probably doesn't make any sense the way I worded it, but problem solved. Thanks again everyone. Edited March 30, 2018 by Stealth126
