WHX?? 48,759 #1 Posted March 27, 2018 A guy that Dan @Achto and I know has this tractor for sale. I think it's a 1277 or 1077?? and would fill in some blanks in my '67 herd if it is either. Dan thinks it may have a 241 in it. Asking 500 with the sweeper which is somewhat interesting in itself. Note both floor boards and stirrups and the condition of the seat. May be worth a look? Thoughts/comments fellas? 9

Achto 27,502 #3 Posted March 27, 2018 The only thing that rules out 10 or 1277 for me from the pic's is that it doesn't have a number on the hood decal. A Charger would have the name & number on the decal that would be below the hood on the gas tank mount/cover. Still a very nice tractor and a cool attachment. That rear sweeper would work better with a rear discharge mower though, in my opinion.
ebinmaine 67,256 #4 Posted March 27, 2018 I can't honestly say I know much about those 60s tractors but it looks like the value of $500 is certainly there.

The decals look an awful lot like a 877 but I think the 877 decal has numbers? Gotta be a pre '68 due to the S/G but possibly a early '68 using up leftover 67 motors or a repo? Find out when I call the guy and ask him what the dash tag says but still a fun guessing game! The mower is another guessing game as should the belt covers be rounded at the ends not square on these years? Yes one would think a RD would be better. 17 minutes ago, dells68 said: I'm digging it! Sarge 3,463 #6 Posted March 27, 2018 Definitely not a '67, probably a '68 Charger. The 1077/1277 had a solid woodgrain decal with the model number added on top of it. Some '68 Chargers used that white outlined lettering - the one I redid years ago for the BIL was like that. Being that year range, there should be a metal tag below the dash to identify it. Sarge 3,463 #8 Posted March 27, 2018 Yup, solid lettering ,no border outlines. The '68 Charger should also have the headlight or blanked out panel at the top of the grill. '67 models had the 7-slot grill only. Sarge
Achto 27,502 #9 Posted March 27, 2018 The decal on that one looks more like the pic below. I think that it is also missing the decal above the white arrow, this is where the name would be on a Charger.

WHX?? 48,759 #12 Posted March 27, 2018 (edited) Belongs in other brands I know but my thread... is a nice tractor, says it's in for a clutchechtomy and jumping out of gear issue. Edited March 27, 2018 by WHX14 6

RandyLittrell 3,877 #17 Posted March 27, 2018 I am still thinking 10 or 1277. The release handle for the belt and and foot rest match. 1276 did not have the pull up handle for the belt and the 68 charger went to floor boards. I know it does have a floorboard on one side, but I bet it was added to aid in getting on the tractor. Randy 1
Mike'sHorseBarn 2,984 #18 Posted March 27, 2018 This bad boy has to be a mix match of parts. Steering wheel isn't correct either, but has to be at least a 1967 model.

CasualObserver 3,408 #20 Posted March 27, 2018 It appears it has a '67 fender pan... the 65-67 fender pan was narrower than 68. The Litter Whisk is cool... There should be a copy of a brochure somewhere around here if it hasn't been lost to the photobucket problem.
