Aldon 4,826 #406 Posted June 19, 2018 (edited) Perhaps for someone wanting to restore an RJ.... I’m finally ready to let go of my K91 and peripherals if someone is interested. the engine was bought from someone on this forum that had the engine rebuilt by a machine shop. i have a Scnacke rebuilt by Papke, a NOS schnacke that I picked up from Jake and a Fairbanks Morse that’s on it at the moment. Also have an original oil bath set up on it. This all amounts to significant coin. i don’t want this to get into a public debate on whether you can find cheaper. Other than the Fairbanks Morse, it’s all pristine functionality wise. PM me and I’ll send you the Lot price. Don’t want to break it up. Might trade for suburban. Something for the Granddaughters to tool around on. Edited June 19, 2018 by Aldon 1
PeacemakerJack 10,738 #407 Posted June 19, 2018 One more plea to see if there is anyone coming to the show that would be able to stop by East Hanover, NJ and pick up the 854 and bring it to the show for @Coulter Caleb. I’d be happy to pay you cash for your time and fuel. I can rent a truck and get it but it will mean most of the day thursday (Caleb’s birthday) will be spent driving instead of us enjoying time with you guys at the show. The tractor is already paid for, just needs to be picked up. If any of you have an open slot on your truck or trailer on the way down to bring this for us we would be much appreciative... please pm me if you can help us out.

This 856 has the fold down back option easy enough fix though. Commando8 that I’m trying to bring back to original state . still looking for.... 1- one short back seat pan (one item I really want) 2- one horseshoe footrest 3- one used 7416 escutcheon headlight blank cover (going on a nice original worker Commando8) 4- two used choke cables (pull type) for 8hp short frame tractors ,856 above photo , Commando8 (again going on all original tractors) 5- WHCC Red with white mess back ball cap @PeacemakerJack 6- white plastic hood hinge bushings (think there’ a couple nice ladies that sold them) 7- one hood ornament for the 856 ( @953 nut gave me one but I have special plans for it along with the seat pan and one of Bob’s seat covers ) If anyone can help me with any of these items PM me please so we can work out details. I’m not going to be at the show but Bob Ellison will be bringing back parts for me . It’s probably a good thing I’m not going because my wife would hate me with all these goodies for sale. I’d definitely be bringing home way more than what I came with . Edited June 19, 2018 by ACman 1

Actually I use several cut-offs like these. They come in real handy for painting. I made some"lazy Susans and set the cut-offs on them. Great for painting wheels, hoods, fenders etc Just my 2 cents, your mileage may vary

Tgtack 779 #425 Posted June 19, 2018 (edited) Okay, I have decided I am selling my model 401. In original patina, K91 runs good, smokes a little on start up. Tranny was rebuilt by Larry from Packrat Fabrications right before I got it last year, and I have only put a couple hours on it. New original OEM Kohler recoil starter, reproduction exhaust heat shield. I put a pair of mid 60's foot rests on the foot pegs. I just have too much trouble with the clutch on it and my weak left leg from MS as I can't tilt my foot up. Great round hood, loaded on the trailer, pick up at show. $425 Text me at 419-573-2122 Edited June 20, 2018 by Tgtack Put wrong model number down, 401 not 400.
