Hi Paul and all, I'm just going over my new-to-me 1971 Wheel Horse Raider 10 6-Speed and noticed the tranny dip stick is completely missing. The dipstick tube on this WH is a long run, exiting behind the seat base. Instead of adding oil through that narrow dipstick tubing, can I just add oil through the diagonal plug opening until the fluid comes up to the threads? That's how I do my '65 Ariens Sno-Thro and my '76 Airhead. Can I just plug the dipstick opening with a golf tee or somesuch so dirt and moisture doesn't get in? Thanks!
