stevasaurus 22,955 #5 Posted February 22, 2018 Here is the deal. Wheel Horse was sold to AMC(?) in 1973 (?) With out checking. In 1972, your tractor would be a Raider 8. In 1973, it is a no name 8 hp. In 1974, it would be a B-80. Edit to correct the above:: The merger with AMC was in 1974. What happened in 1973 was just the change in what they were naming the horses. In 1973, they went to just naming the horses for horsepower and transmission. Yours became the 8 4 speed. 3 4
raven2955 23 #6 Posted February 22, 2018 So, it looks like 10120 is 1973 10140 is B80 etc Parts should be interchangeable. Thanks again
stevasaurus 22,955 #7 Posted February 22, 2018 You are correct...not only parts will interchange, but also attachments. All attachments for "B" & "C" series horses will fit your horse. Model #10140 is a 1974 "B" 80. 2
stevasaurus 22,955 #8 Posted February 22, 2018 Did you buy this horse? It is missing a few parts...the mule drive on the engine pulley and the guard on the left side from what I see. Here is a 1973 8hp 4 speed from our picture gallery. You can see the mule drive here.

Retired Wrencher 5,546 #14 Posted February 23, 2018 raven2955 The only thing is different is the rear axel. They put a lighter axel in them. The centering hub is smaller the tires are smaller than normal. That is how mine was that I just sold recently. Enjoy It is still a good tractor.
rmaynard 15,751 #15 Posted February 23, 2018 I would say that most, but not all parts are interchangable. There are difference in the sheet metal in the area of the shifter. 1
