dells68 7,498 #76 Posted March 8, 2018 Don't for get Dells68 the slits go down on the frame. and the angled cut on the bottom goes to the back against the back rest. I'm glade you like it. Gotcha Bob! I just laid them out and wanted to show the amount of care and thought you had put in. Guess I should have flipped them over, but then no one would have seen the pads are even cut to allow them to follow the contour of the pan. Again, I'm thrilled with the cover and pads! I know we've probably met at the show in the past, but I e got to make sure to look you up this year!!
BOB ELLISON 2,981 #77 Posted March 8, 2018 @dells68 I've only been to 1 Big Show and that was last year. I tried to meet as many as I could but me being a newbie I didn't know anyone except 953nut, squonk, Ed Kennell. I sat with Richard and he helped my with some of the names. But I going to make this year if the creek don't rise. And yes look me up there. 2
BOB ELLISON 2,981 #78 Posted March 8, 2018 Well @953 nut I think I got it Richard. I want out in the garage and checked out the 1054 seat patterns that I made. I checked them and I did make the back just to see if it would be ok and it looks good. Tomorrow I'll make the seat . I have the wood for both Back and seat but I never did make the wedges for the seat. I just never got around to splitting a 2x4. I do know there's a lot more material in the 1054 and a lot more sewing. I did a different type seam on this back and I like it see if you can spot it. 3

Seat back foam also had foam wedges built in.
BOB ELLISON 2,981 #80 Posted March 9, 2018 Yes I see that. mine had the wood. But that would be easy to do it with the foam. That seat looks like it was made before they discovered wood. haha But I need a pic of the fabric or the finished back. Maybe someone has one. I know the fabric is stapled but is it covered to hide the staples. I'm going to have to go into my computer and search for all the pictures I took of my old 1054 seat. Maybe I have a good picture but I don't think so.

No telling what they may have been doing day to day. The serial number on the 953 the seat came from is 62-829.

dells68 7,498 #88 Posted March 15, 2018 Not yet Richard. It's been a crazy week or so. I do have the pan in the back of my truck. Won't get a chance tonight since Emory has Trail Life tonight. We do pick his cart up tomorrow. He bought it from @limited12 at the show last summer. I'm having it Rhino Lined for his birthday next week.
