Pullstart 62,831 #126 Posted September 29, 2022 This’ll be a good time to do a grease job and oil change! I just ran the grease gun out of the Red-N-Tacky so I’ll load a new one in the morning and get after it.

Pullstart 62,831 #128 Posted September 29, 2022 I did a little tear down. The exhaust needed to be tightened another turn. When I built this, I never ran many heat cycles before hitting the road for my 2018 Big Show. So, the engine needed to come loose to run another turn into the head. I lightened up the counterweight on the tink tink flapper. Got a little creative with the drill bits. I kind of see it… 1 1

Pullstart 62,831 #131 Posted September 29, 2022 I figured I should snap some pictures of my 8 speed swap details. I used a 5/8”x3/4” pulley sleeve to run the stock pulley from the 3 speed.
Pullstart 62,831 #132 Posted September 29, 2022 And the brake side. I believe I bent the brake rod to fit. This was a C-101 8 speed transmission. I am not sure what 502 and what C-101 parts I used any more. Note. There is no parking brake lever still.
The Freightliner Guy 1,327 #133 Posted September 29, 2022 Parking brake for me on most of my stuff such as three wheelers is front wheels turned as far as they can to one direction and that’s usually good enough

I wanted to lighten up the back weight and was thinking of different patterns. I tossed some masking tape on and rudely ( not crudely @ebinmaine) sketched the horse head and started drilling Edited September 30, 2022 by Pullstart Auto correct at it’s finest

Pullstart 62,831 #150 Posted March 10, 2023 I found this video from 8 years ago. It seems like it was forever ago, and indeed it’s more than half of my kids’ lives back! Somehow, it was the first and only video on a YT channel I started. I never realized I started another one, but here we are.
