Do you have any need for it?  I thought I’d rob a few things off it then send it down the road.

Possibly.  Those old Sears are beginning to grow on me.  Is the engine stuck?

This afternoon I jacked Putt Putt up off the ground while I was watching paint dry on Hot Wheels and gave it a zero gravity grease job.  I then realized that I borrowed a front wheel off him to mock up on Frank a while back... low and behold I mounted it backwards!  I guess the bearings don’t care, right?

Putt Putt made the trip to WI this weekend, where I tried out a 10” plow behind him.  Probably too much I know, but it’s what I had.  The day started out not so pretty, with the plow digging to China and pulling hard to the left.  @Shynon taught me a bit about adjusting the plow share(?) to push away from the fresh earth and that straightened me out.  I kept adjusting the suck point until it dug right to where it would pull easily and roll the earth well.  The little tractor did pretty well, but I could easily use even more than the weights on it!  I see how traction on the land side is much more difficult to find than fresh plowed earth.  I could probably make due taking one weight off the right and adding it to the left.  I’d also like to fluid fill these tires, or get a skinny set mounted up and filled for plowing too.

That tractor sure is filthy!  It’s ready for a bath, along with Hot Wheels.

Maybe filled tyres in combination with chains on the Grass side will do the Trick.

Think it‘s worth a try, or is @pullstart land already completely plowed? 😂

They’d think there’s a real mole problem.  Next thing you know, they’re tossing grub poison out there by the bucket!

A little Putt Putt update.  Last year’s plow day was the last weekend Putt Putt has been out of the barn.  The bolt holding the front axle pin came out and the axle was flopping around by just the rear hole.  Today I fired him up and pulled him into the front shop to play with the idea dual gas out back.  I decided before pulling the pin and going to a c-clip style, I’d try drilling and tapping the end and sticking a 3/8” bolt with a captive washer and lock washer in the hole.

@ebinmaine you were asking the other day the best way to drill the center of a piece of round stock.  I’d say I am pretty close eyeballing it!  I used a center punch, 3/16” pilot drill and finally the 5/16” drill for the 3/8”-16 tap.

I found another baffle like the one in Putt Putt’s Cherry Bomb stack!

It’s from the mufflers of my 2006 Honda Shadow Spirit 750.  This one here has about 20 miles on the odometer!  :ROTF:

I borrowed Putt Putt’s gas cap for Poppy because that was leaking so bad.  I often see “what gas cap will fit my round hood?” and I often try to respond that a C10 gas cap will work with a little modification.  Well, now I did a little video to show it.  This works for round hoods, 953/1054’s, among probably many other tractors or brands.

The right hand cap from a Shovel Head should be a direct replacement. I will confirm this tonight.

Putt Putt got a points cleaning today and some seat time.  I sure have missed the rhythm of the ole K-181 and Cherry Bomb popping off!

In my quest for front end parts for a '61 or 62 looks like that tractor has got full length tie rods instead of only one Kev. That would mean it has the triangle plate welded to the lower shaft and no drag link. I woulda thought that it would have shared the same front end parts as a say a 702? Which is just a single short tie rod and drag link. Your steering gear looks '63 ish. I need to look at the IPL for a 502 I guess.
