moe1965 749 #1 Posted January 27, 2018 Im looking at a wheel horse tomorrow for a restoration project. I'm told it is a 1968 with a 12 hp kohler it only has a tiller attachment to go with it. im told it runs good. asking price is 375 i talked him down to 225 with out seeing it and im not committed to that price. it was listed in december so it has been around awhile so im guessing thats why he is willing to take less. my question is if all is running is 225 a good price. thanks
953 nut 56,164 #2 Posted January 27, 2018 From my point of view a running 12 HP would be a great buy, the tiller is a bonus!
pfrederi 17,982 #3 Posted January 27, 2018 Either a Charger or a raider running is worth that
Aldon 4,827 #4 Posted January 27, 2018 (edited) Agreed. If it runs the engine by itself is almost worth that price. Edited January 27, 2018 by Aldon
Ed Kennell 39,171 #5 Posted January 27, 2018 Yup, like all the above experts say.....any with a running 12HP Kohler is worth $225. With a working tiller, twice that.

Pullstart 63,201 #16 Posted January 30, 2018 The tines look like they've seen better days, but the tiller that I bought without that lift arm mechanism and similar condition tines for $225 proves that you done just got yourself a free tractor! And a refreshing beverage ta boot!
