Are you done cutting grass already ?

Not quite, but I have a 42SD on my 310-8 that will finish this years mowing.    I use the 312 for hauling firewood so it works much better in the woods w/o the deck.

Then I'll put the plow frame with the front tiller on the 312  to till up the garden after it is done.   After that the tiller comes off and 48" blade goes on just in case we get some snow.

Working on installing power steering in my D-250 and restoring it, it’s slow going

A little update, work on this tractor is slow. I’ve been rewiring, the wiring was in bad shape. Still working on power steering, I do have a box made around steering valve and making sure got room for hydraulic lines. Next will be where to put steering cylinder so it’s out of way. Will post more pics in few days. Been trying to buy another used D250, but looks like it’s not going to happen

Very moving picture Eric.     It is good to know he got to see his Wheel Horse working.

 Thanks Ed.

He used it for short periods when he was able I think, two or three times? Since we brought it down there a few months ago.

Like me a few years ago, he was basically unfamiliar with the brand.

He figured out pretty quickly what we see in them for build quality and capability.

And this one absolutely will be.  Trina's immediate occupational direction is to use it as the mower for the back 40, down around the garden area.

It has a 36RD deck now. Might get a 42RD that we have here.

I've also considered putting a hydro lift on and using it for a snow scoop pusher or 60" wide snow plow tractor.

Same here ... I've got the complete hydro lift set up @PeacemakerJack give me years ago and may try to hang a 48 off a 520 under it just for grins. Front blade too...:)

If you haven't done so, consider switching over to the solid state magneto.  Very easy to do and very reliable.  If you have a mower shop nearby you may be able to get a used one off a dead engine.

Morgan, the 14-8, got a bit of exercise today moving the pontoon trailer down to the lake house so I could load up some treated 6x6x16' lumber to get it out of the way.  Then got the cart out to haul off the cutoffs from the deck project and carry some stuff to the lake house for my wife.  While I had the cart attached, I loaded up the dozer blade that has been languishing in the lake house yard and moved it back to its proper storage place by the tractor shed.
