I ground down a cheap wrench and also cut the box end off so it fits in a little better.

As mentioned previously, I brought my '92 520H into a dealer for a tune up and to resolve the surging at idle.  Spoke with them today and they said the estimate to fix along with changing filters, plug, oil and hydro fluid is going be $1300.  They said most of that cost is the carb kit that will be hard to find and is not cheap. Overkill and a ripoff to pay that kind of fee.  Will take to a local small engine repair shop and see what their estimate is

That’s outrageous! I wouldn’t take anything there with the high prices and they said it has injectors. Sounds like they don’t really know what they’re doing.

You bring that up to Maine and I'll  "generously"  fix it for  a measly $1290.

WOW.  That's ridiculous.

Oh and by the way.....

That carb kit isn't even remotely difficult to find....

K&B Wheel Horse Parts had rebuilt carbs with brass floats for every motor imaginable.
Snagged one for this Kohler 8, installed it this afternoon and she is running sweet!

Well done on both!

That muffler looks quite a fair amount better.

Dug out my 77 B-80/8speed today.

What is my "free to me" seat doing on a B80? LOL

I just taped (reupholstered) one up that would fit perfect on that tractor

That colour might look good for the sheet metal on my Work Horse too.

Swapped the seat out on the 857. I know it’s not original but it’s in better shape and is plenty comfy mounted up in the small U shaped springs. I’m long legged so I appreciate the added height which gives me a bit more leg room.
Gave the seat pan a Flood Penetrol treatment as well.

Sounds good. Not really any louder than original type muffler. I'll try to do a video tomorrow.

Got the running fleet out today to stretch and take some pics!

Also got the hood back on the Suburban after some crack repairs and got it running again with a new glass bowl. Unfortunately I did this after I put the rest of them away so it didn't make the fleet pic.

Wired up a kill switch and adjusted the throttle and governor on the K90 551. Short road test proved the double heat shield worked well. Recoil is off as it needs a new handle.

Spark, those front wheels look wider than factory or is it just the wheel color, tire combo, photo etc. making them look that way

They’re the original front wheels so they are wide, make the tri-ribs kinda fat.
