I asked my daughter who likes to paint if she would paint the white letters on my dash panel..

She surprised me with it on father's day!

That looks great! I've been wanting to try my hand at it and was wondering how to go about doing it? Care to share how she went about doing yours? Thought about using small sponge but I don't know if that would work...

From what I seen it was a white enamel paint pen that said waterproof/sunproof that I think was purchased at Hobby Lobby.

Got another carb to clean out.

I'm trying lacquer thinner on this one.

The gaskets were glued on by a previous owner/ installer so I had to wire brush them off.

I'll run it through the ultrasonic cleaner a few times and get it back together.

Well I unloaded my haul from the big show and fixed the tire on the diesel. Max believes he needs another tire for the rear of his 1277 to really pull some weight at the sled pulls20240623_152348.jpg.4d79a8f6a7672694d19606660c673865.jpg20240623_152442.jpg.1cfbfee5d5f726e5efc0869d310dca8a.jpg

More dirt work for Morgan the 14-8 today.  Working the final grade under the deck.  'Tenderized' the work area with the Troy Built Bronco as a start, then got the shovel and landscape rake to tidy things up.  Shoveled 4 or 5 cart loads of dirt - into AND out of the cart, as it is a non dumping low rider type cart.  About 1/2 way done.  Still have a yard and a half of dirt to move.  A front end loader equipped Horse sure would be handy for this job.

Found the gas leak in the tiller.  The gas line was old and had cracks on the ID under the clamps allowing some seepage.

Played around with the mount for the compressor head a bit tonight. The bracket is from a garden tractor lift that was tweaked and the hood is from @Pullstart! Giving life to a beat up hood!20240627_215910.jpg.7cd4b27b0911d2b5e437aeb5401484eb.jpg20240627_215845.jpg.e987ee646f42605f9301c58472b57aae.jpg20240627_214708.jpg.1e0da6f600e1746a224aab619549f208.jpg

A box of coffee for that hood was a perfect trade!  Nice to see you and the fam, Jon!
