D_Mac 8,620 #2112 Posted April 7, 2019 Picked up this little dump cart about a year ago and just got around to painting it. Not sure who made it as there was nothing to identify it under all the rust. With some red paint and some decals purchased on Ebay...... its a Wheel Horse of Course ! 5

RetroMower 349 #2123 Posted April 9, 2019 Started cleaning up the rear discharge deck today. Hit a few snags. I would have loved to take the spindles apart and clean and grease them but even with heat was only able to get one pulley off. Even then the shaft on that one is permanently fused to the bearings. Took the tensioner bar off to find the nylon guides destroyed. Had one good one on the bigger side discharge deck and was able to make some replacements. Yes i know they are aluminum and could have used nylon but i had the aluminum stock in the right size and judging by the swiss cheese holes in the deck and the clock ticking on the spindles, they will most likely outlive the rest of the parts.
WHX?? 48,828 #2124 Posted April 9, 2019 The Red... aside from the whisker hair or pube on the fender pan ..gets covered up by the seat anyway... Dan was scratching himself alot! Absolutely awesome finnish for a GT! Put them in the guest bedroom for safekeeping and curing. This is what the master says and who am I to argue? Belt guard did not come out to his perfection and threatened to beat me over the noggin with it if he could not refinish to his perfection..again who am I to argue? Damn shame his fenders suffered the same. Real bad time to come down with the "runs" when spraying automotive quality red! Pics are not doing justice! 2 8
