This plow was set up for cruising behind a 953, but Putt Putt didn’t mind either! It was dry enough to pull the camper out! I have to drive about 1/8 mile or so to the field entrance to easily pull it to the road, then the driveway. Where are the rocks???? 1

D_Mac 8,619 #18754 Posted April 13, 2023 (edited) Blew the dust off of the 1075 and the 856. 1075 Is going to need looking into. Runs great for a while the starts cutting out. I added a license plate and rubbed some boiled linseed oil on them both. Edited April 15, 2023 by D_Mac 5
kpinnc 12,066 #18755 Posted April 14, 2023 Little man drove the 314-8 around today. I gotta get him some pedal extensions! The new engine is so smooth and quiet! Upgrading the transmission next to a 8-pinion. 8

kpinnc 12,066 #18759 Posted April 14, 2023 I did something else today too. Since my 310-8 got upgraded to the 314-8, I decided to give it a heavier transmission while I'm upgrading. I have a couple spare 8-speeds, and the input shaft has been leaking on the original tranny for a while anyway. So I cleaned up one of my spares today. The gear oil was nasty, but had no water in it. I changed the axle seals as well. The hubs weren't horribly stuck, but it took a while to remove them. The hitch pin was a royal pain, but it finally came out. Only thing I didn't have was an input shaft seal. And it's gonna need one for this tranny as well. Degreased the whole thing and primed it, then sprayed two coats of Rust-Oleum regal red on it. The case had some pitting on it, so it doesn't have a smooth finish, but it's good enough for a worker. I'll chase the hub threads tomorrow and get her ready to swap into the 314-8. 5
spitfire 176 #18760 Posted April 14, 2023 (edited) Yesterday we drove the b125 for the first time. He jumps out 3rd and reverse 😕 We changed the engine with a 12hp power build, repaired starter and brakes and all electrics. Achto 27,594 #18761 Posted April 14, 2023 Hitched up my 633 for a little clean up duty. I have to look into why it starts hard when it's cold, but other than that I'm really getting to like this little tractor. 6 6

c-series don 8,710 #18769 Posted April 15, 2023 @spitfire The fuel line should go under the flywheel shroud and up to the fuel pump, not up over the head.

It goes under the shroud back further, there should be two hose clamps bolted on it at about 4 & 8 o'clock.
D_Mac 8,619 #18773 Posted April 15, 2023 Worked on all 3 of my Horses. The 1075 got an oil change. The 875 was losing spark intermittently. Wound up being the wire that goes from the points to the coil. The terminal end was broken off. After that adjusted the carb a little, back to running great. The 856 got a boiled linseed oil rub down and I monkeyed with the seat a little. Seat cover is all tore up and the padding is gone so I added a little pad under the cover. Will do till I find a new seat. I also would like to rebuild this fuel pump off the 1075. Has the primer lever on it. Having trouble finding a kit for it. Anyone have a link for one? Hate to put a plastic pump on it. This one leaks a little. 4
