Heatingman 971 #16576 Posted August 16, 2022 Landed a pretty good deal on some Ag tires and rims for my B80 Im semi-restoring. Got the set for $100 rims and tires. tires look to have never seen use. Sure beats about around 100 each for new tires only. now I gotta find some fronts. 10

Ironically Ive found entire tractors for not much more then a new set of tires alone, with the tires I want. If I had more space, id buy a few.

Desko 608 #16580 Posted August 17, 2022 Finally getting back around to the 520-8 today since farm work has tapered off for the year although I might be looking into raising pigs again but that's besides the point lol. So I got everything but the wiring stripped and the sheet metal is sand blasted. To my surprise the roll pin and steering wheel came right off which was surprising to me. I'm going to ultimately just sand the frame and hood stand though because it's not in as bad of shape as the tins. I'm doing away with the electric lift in favor of the mechanical lift because it seems the electric lift hits the center support of the hood stand and it makes it a pain to get the oil filter out. I might save it and put it on my work horse though. Hopefully more pictures to follow in the days to come. 4
Forrest Carver 52 #16581 Posted August 17, 2022 Haven't done it yet, but tonight I plan to add a pair of kids seats like below to the fenders on my D160 to hold my 2 and 3-year old. The 2-year old is a little scared of it when it's running, but when it's off neither one can stay off the thing. I have to set up an egg timer so they share with each other. They each probably have more time in the drivers seat than I do at this point!

Forrest Carver 52 #16583 Posted August 17, 2022 Oh yes, we're serious about ear pro in this family! Between the '92 Exmark 48" commercial walk-behind and the ported MS311 saw, it's essential PPE. Here's the 3-year old (almost 4) a couple years ago....he wore them pretty much the whole summer. 5 3

Deal is when grandchildren enter the shop they go right to "their" drawer with the PPE and shop aprons and "get suited up for fun"! 5

TonyToro Jr. 1,387 #16589 Posted August 17, 2022 We are working on an engine in a B-80 for one of my pulling tractors (behind me) and we got an awesome delivery from @Bill Winn! It was a hitch! Thanks bill! I’m think of sanding it and painting it to freshen up the look?? I don’t really know much about it and what attachments go to it if anybody knows, it would help lots! 2 5
ineedanother 1,369 #16590 Posted August 18, 2022 (edited) Here's mine, fresh out of the e-tank today. Below the pic is the thread that @Pullstart posted not long ago. I'd bet you would love seeing that in action. Safe and inexpensive. The reverse of anode and cathode serves to do plating on stuff also. Great science projects! D_Mac 8,593 #16594 Posted August 18, 2022 (edited) Noticed the drive belt on the 856 was sitting very low in the pulley. Went and put a new one on. Takes off like a rocket now. Belt is up where it should be. Edited August 18, 2022 by D_Mac 3

Also continued reshaping the damage to the belt guard on the mower deck to prep for paint. Odd how much time Ive spent smoothing out dings on a piece nobody will ever see but me. 4
