@ebinmaine the input pipe on the muffler has completely separated from the can.  I don't think there is enough there to work with to save it.

I had two of my 314's out for a run today.   

 

I also had my B-80 and Spyker spreader out to apply a  Scott's Weed and Feed application in the wet grass.

yes McKim is in my front yard on a circle atop the highest point in Greencastle.  
 

1884 with a brass telescope.

If you do a McKim search oN Red Square I think there are some interior photos of the telescope and the time clock mechanism that keeps the telescope aligned to the object you are looking at.

Bullfrog performance , predator670 performance, Midwest super cub, 

many places have the collector you need for a 2-1 header. From there you can make your own header or these shops also sell complete headers. I just bought from Midwest super cub. They made us a custom exhaust.

Interesting PTO/belt guard on this one - first time I've seen one of these. Are these still available somewhere?

 

Also, love the hubcaps, and the muffler guard. I actually need 2 of those muffler guards but haven't been able to find any for sale.

the pto guard is plastic and was placed on this 50th Anniversary model ( and I think a few others) but has some special butterfly nuts on bolt heads welded to the frame.

 

Those perforated metal guards screw on to the muffler on certain models.   You could probably fabricate a guard from perforated metal without much trouble.

       Never thought about the pulley swap, but wheels with the fan mounted above and perhaps a tilt function is being considered.   I did use the fan the other day to burn some old records that had our Social security numbers on them just by sitting the blower five feet from the burn pot and fashioning an air tunnel to direct the fury. It burned it all quickly--even dense papers stacked tight together with a bit of wood to keep the temps up.

Woke up some friends today. The 875 and the 1075 had been asleep for a few weeks so I thought I would blow the dust off them and take them for a cruise. The 856 was glad to share some seat time.

Speaking of rear wheels. After I took them all for a spin I decided that the rear weights I put on the 875 were not all that attractive. So..... out came the paint brushes.  Looks cleaner now.

Ever wonder why any manufacturer would have bothered to put a hood ornament on a tractor? One purpose for it is to use it as a site to line your tractor up down your rows in your garden. 

 

I was going to use Radpferd, my Diesel tractor with a 3spd transmission today but I'm glad that I choose my Raider. Why? 1st gear high range was a little too fast. At this speed too much dirt was being thrown on to the plants. 3rd gear low range worked much better.

I have hydraulics added to this tractor, but I have used this same set up with out hydraulics as well.

So up early to finish what I started yesterday. Finished painting the wheel weights on my 875. They are Craftsman weights 55 lbs each. Better then no weights.

Picked up this 1960 suburban 400 yesterday from the widow of a collector down in Temperance MI.  Today will probably do a survey of all the fluids and lube points and see if I can get it fired up!

Finally removed about 1/2 of the crappy crab grass and replaced it with 15 pallets of choice Bermuda. Alas, the WH is a scalp fest on max height so it has to be hand mowed with the old 80s Snapper pusher. I'm up to it at 60 - it's a family disease. Dad had it and would be proud. Anyway, the crappy grass needed a cut - was about 6 inches high. Deer were enjoying it but still. The C125 has a nice bored rebuild and scrapped its balance gears. With the hard mounts, it is a vibration fest. 1/2 throttle max, with the hood racket. Nice to get it out there, though, slipping and sliding around on the inclines. No added weight to the ags. After about a 1/2 hour of that, I got out the 516 with its Onan and fluid filled tires and 48" deck. It was like getting out of an old LTD and getting into a Coupe DeVille. Smooth and harmonic. Enjoyed it immensely. Now, the deer stay across the street.

So I did some more detailing on the 856 " FORSAKEN " engine. I know the colors aren't for the purest but the orange matches the pinstripes and flames. Also not for the purest.
