Don I would absolutely do that rather than having to cut and drill a piece of steel, but the lever on this tractor doesnt have a stop, so if i use chain the lift lever will rotate all the way down and i wont be able to reach it to lift the plow back up 4 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You can use aluminum bar if you need it to drill and cut easier. That plow is made for a suburban but they made a special frame adapter so it can bolt on the earlier RJs too. The problem with that frame to plow mount bracket you have is the the axle is on the front of an RJ, whereas the suburban axle was under the frame. The RJ adapter hangs down under the axle and goes out and around the the front axle. You will need to do some kind of modification to use that bracket on an RJ. The axle will hit the bracket when it swivels if it's just bolted to the frame. A foot pedal was used with a small piece of chain to release the pin for indexing the blade and a rope tethered to the corners of the blade was used to move it from the seat. Nope....got a nice frame...hanging in the tree primed.....and a new tunnel......gonna throw out the broken frame. johnnymag3 2,520 #13746 Posted November 28, 2021 Working on the sons 418 A... .taking off the tins to check Stator....why doesnt the tin come off the flywheel side? seems like the flywheel has to be coming off at the same time. The tin goes behind the flywheel just enough to make it so it does not clear....UGH I do have all of the other tin work off around it also. Also coil says 010 air gap.....seem right to you guys???
