That wasn't me.

My sandals aren't flip flops.

I'm sure they're safety rated though.

I was surprised to learn one could even get steel toed sandals.  Must be a Maine thing.

Most days above 35 or 40 I'm wearing shorts.

Same here, unless I am outside for an extended amount of time, shoveling or plowing snow for example, or sitting around it’s always T-Shirt weather. We don’t even turn our heat on until after thanksgiving, and today one year ago we already had snow.

Unless it’s flip flops weather… then it’s a toss up!

Boot on one foot, flip flop on the other.

makes no sense...1100 Eatons should all be the same ???

My snowblower 520H takes a few seconds until it'll lift the snowblower. No experience with the FEL machine.

I do notice a difference in reverse speed between the two. Not sure if it's linkage or something else. I'm happy to go slow in reverse with the front end loader.

I received a package today. Looks like it came from Johnny Mag's Magnetos and More Consortium of North American and Beyond, Inc.

Oooooohhhhh shiny!

I had to slightly modify the fan baffle. The right side of this coil had a slightly larger boss compared to the original Nothing a little "exactly" knife and some sandpaper couldn't fix. ;)

I mowed most of the yard and she stayed running. I won't know for sure until I can run her for 2 hours plus.

Thanks @johnnymag3. Even though you gave me the "No Chinese food price", I still owe you for a few reasons:
1). You saved me some cash.
B). I didn't have to worry if I was getting some cheap ripoff piece of crap.

36). My 310 is now officially JohnnyMag'd. :D

I ordered new transmission bearings for my 607. I also carved a wicked awesome pumpkin with the Wheel Horse logo silhouetted. Unfortunately I cannot upload the photos right now. Happy Halloween.

Yesterday I picked up a Bolens G10 from @bizon He gave me some nice old Wheel Horse paper work he had laying around.

Went trough it today.

I did found a part number for a vinyl tractor cover 110831, Haven't seen one on here tho, does anyone have one? Would love to see one.

Also found out the dealer recommended 5w20 or 5w30, which seems a bit strange for a full-time mowing machine in a country we rarely see temperatures below 20°f, when we obviously don't have to mow.

Also quite neet is this document from 1987 stating the tractor is noise compliant. drawn up in Oevel. I do know now as well, the most mowing decks are slightly overdriven 3693 rpm

I happy with these, which are very rare around here.

They exist. I had one for a short time.     I keep all my tractors inside so I sold the cover.

My starter worked but was making horrible grinding noises. I pulled it apart and found the bushing on the bendix end was badly worn to the point the armature was hitting the magnets .  I got a bushing at the hardware store that with a little reaming fit nicely. Cranks nice and quiet now. I caught it before the magnets got destroyed.  Bushing cost $4.40 .

Dropped in my first refurbished  K301,piston,rings,rod and valves, removed the balance gears.New carb.

I think she’s running pretty good. The slight knocking sound is  belt slap, next thing to do on the to do list list.

My first build and I have to say these Kohlers are a pleasure to work on.This is a 12hp auto no name.

My second WH .People tired to warn me.I’m already looking for another one.I can’t stop now,I may have a problem.😬

I assure you this site is the ((best/worst)) place to help you with this new affliction.

4-1/2 years ago I started with one little bitty horsey.

Then Trina got hers.

She now has 3.

I have 2 runners, several projects.

They're excellent machines.

The fault though really lies with this website. You see, the folks 'round here are very helpful and kind.

I've met quite a few.

Very good people.

Made it back home after over 5 weeks on the road.  Thankfully it hasn’t snowed here in east central WI.  The leaves are 3/4 down and was able to play with momma’s BIG RED diesel today. Another shout out to @Shynon for the deck and bagger system… worked great!F869ACB1-5FDB-4E37-8891-6D5C9873B8CE.jpeg.964f1913b8215392bb667101983bd9ef.jpeg

the tree behind the tractor was planted as a sapling about 6 years ago.  It is looking really nice and the pictures don’t do the color of the leaves justice.

the diesel seems to eat through the leaves with a lot of  “gusto”!

These Xi series tractors really do make great workers!

Love the trailer!!

Thanks Fellas!  That’s “Ole Smoky” my ‘69 C-10.  It came 307/3OTT but now has a warmer ‘86 350 in it.  It’s my goal to drive it more next year!

There was a Chevy Only like 60 something to 98's only Truck Show near me around Oakboro NC this past weekend or so...

held at a local business mans estate.

I did not go as I was knee deep in working on my 1984 Work Horse GT-1600, but my best friend went and he said the staff said there were like 1,200 Chevy trucks there.

And believe me there is a keen interest and loyal following of these trucks, C-10's especially, and they are selling for big bucks around the south.

Better hang onto it, or if you let it go, don't let it go for a song !

The show was the C-10 Fall Revival.
