What have you done to your Wheel Horse today?

Mowed for the first time today with the new rj58 after finally finding a deck for it. The kohler k91 did well in tall grass.

Tuneup

Took a look outside and figured the grass would be dry for about 5 hours before the dew and Sunday's rain so the honey-do became a lower priority and the back yard got mowed. I do love that 48SD. Since wifey was off for a massage to work an aching shoulder, she came home and said...and said...nothing. It's all about the balance. Rain here today so the honey-do will get honey-done anyway.

Should hold up well👍

Put a new filter on, rejetted, put some new rubbers on the front... (I like these front tires better than the other ones I had on it)... and taught a family member (who is camera shy... refused to be photographed... LOL) how to drive the HellHorse...

Oh, and I put an exhaust sleeve on it to keep from burning myself over and over... :laughing-rolling:

Honda-Horse

No, no, no. It should be called a Horse Honda. Because first, it's "A Wheel Horse, Of Course ™."

Nice work though. B)

Razorback

I installed new spindle bearings in my 36" RD deck...... it's a lot quieter now. Also got a new PTO belt for it and for my 42" SD deck at TSC.

Well, all things have to come to an end, today I’ve started “unrednecking” my Dixie horse 3108FAFBB87-862D-4F07-A65E-2338E54ED703.jpeg.45a2d064a2447972ca43e33312952a2f.jpeg4BB64DCC-035C-4063-A065-E71F712910BE.jpeg.3709f66260e18f6f1737550d789d231f.jpeg

6 gallons of RV antifreeze fluid in each tire

Works well with those tires, and if you really want them to bite, use only 5-6 lbs. of air pressure.

I don't even use any air pressure at all.

I have 10.5 x 23 x 12 Carlisle AG tires on the back of my c-160.

I had those fluid filled probably 4 years ago?

Over 7 gallons per tire.

I've never once checked the air pressure because the fluid is above the level of the valve. The tires have a nice squish to them and grab very very well.

Yep works well too, but with 6 gallon it is a little too soft. At least for mowing on my hills.

On the mine the stem is at 12 and tractor jacked up, I can still add air. If adding the full 10 lbs or so of air, I found tires turn to rock. Something of an experiment
