I bought a 607 today, but the towing vehicle is in the shop so I am picking it up later this week. So I guess to answer the thread title, built my collection.

Finally got round to swapping the fabric belt on Dugs hydraulic pump to a more "rubbery" one for better grip. Had been slipping when under a heavy load. We'll see if it helped when I go to pick up another heafty load.20210808_195453.jpg.18b315704999572f45f949346241b2a9.jpg

'Round here the BBT has been busy all day as usual. Her and her Mom spent some time moving seasoned wood from the front yard to the basement.

Good to see that some one is getting ready to keep warm this winter. :thumbs2:

We took a walk into the forest yesterday.

A few more beech trees to section up and split/stack.

We'll be good to go unless it's a wicked cold or long season.

That's kinda what the Farmers Almanac is calling for. And they got a 50% chance of being right. They rate about as well as the rodent.  :laughing-rolling:

Funny thing is, the Farmers Almanac is usually more accurate at predicting the weather for a whole year than the local weather people are at predicting the weather for 3 days.

Nice find!! I have a 96 314-8 and  96 416-H. I would love to find a reasonably priced 314-H. More than enough power for the 48" deck, but nowhere near as thirsty as the Onan. I can't find a happy speed for the 8 speed, 3rd hi is too fast, and 2nd hi is too slow, with the hydro I can get somewhere in between.

Chip61 , yes the 314-8 is a great tractor. I have a 92 or 93 with a recycling deck on it.  I use with a tiller and snowblower.  I think I may try my 314 hydro with the snowblower this winter.

And Richie is correct. Too stinking hot! We are supposed to get a break next week ( low to mid 80s), so I hope to make up for lost time them.

You guys need an air conditioner too, but it's only 78 outside right now, 42% humidity. Not too bad.
