OutdoorEnvy 1,522 #11202 Posted May 11, 2021 Put the 312 to work mowing a baseball practice field. One nice thing about the 42" deck is that it fits nice in the bed of a truck! Makes it super handy for us country boys stuck in the city with no trailer Not the best pic as I should have took a closer pic of the field but basically mowed out the field shape. Felt good to get those new tires dirty! 6
Gregor 4,846 #11203 Posted May 11, 2021 I had a tire repaired today. It's on the back of the 125. The tractor isn't done of course, but I still need to be able to push it around my garage. Told the tire guy to fix, or throw a tube in it for now, as I don't know which tires I want to order yet. I must be out of touch with reality. Invoice: Repair leak, and install new stem. $33.32 3
Greentored 3,201 #11204 Posted May 11, 2021 After an odd reduction gear break on the B1 bomber on Friday, I swiped one from the parts archives and got it back together, fired up Lawn Duty to cut the yard, then grabbed Hoss and lined em up for a quick photo shoot. don’t know what it is about that 1277, but it just trips my trigger every time I run it. ...and that 16hp swap just makes it a grass slinging animal! 5

rjg854 11,361 #11219 Posted May 12, 2021 You need to keep both It never hurts to have a backup. Winter time you can have both blower and plow at the ready. If one should go down, the other is right there.

Jhook 849 #11221 Posted May 12, 2021 Original receipt from 1/18/95 $4123 for the 416h and $700 for the deck. Pretty cool. Im gonna spend at least a few weeks reading thru all these papers 😂

I got a Troy Bilt pony riding mower from a coworker who mentioned he wanted to throw it away but hadn't got around to it and already had a new mower. I told him I'd come by and get it and he said go ahead. Fixed about 20 things on it but got it going really good, put about $100 in it. Used it for a couple years. Then the right deal on a WH finally came a long. Bought the WH and then sold the TB. Considering both sales I'm only out of pocket about $50 for the WH. Good deal and well worth the time in my book. Looking to do it again... 2
Oldskool 6,644 #11223 Posted May 12, 2021 @OutdoorEnvy fixing/selling used riding mowers is what funds my garden tractor addiction. Find one, fix it, mow my lawn with it once or twice. Then sell it. Works great. No flack from the wife, no guilt for spending bill money on tractors 1
