squonk 41,018 #11076 Posted May 7, 2021 That's why I got them. A tick wider stance than the standard Town & Country's

I saw that filter and thought it might be a K&N with it having the wrench flats on it. So I take it the oil filter sandwiches the shroud?
squonk 41,018 #11078 Posted May 7, 2021 (edited) Wix does make an Onan filter with the wrench flats on it or did. I can't come up with the number but I used it on my 520. They possibly eliminated the wrench end. Edited May 7, 2021 by squonk

Hmmm I still have my hydro off the charger 10.....I used it for about6 years.....the only thing that went wrong was the keyway on the axcels were scary worn. What I did like is in tight areas it was very very fast compared to gear shifting. On long drivways the gears are good. I do find the 8 speed with that 250 somthing to one bull low is like having two clydsdales heheheheh, tracktor just isnt heavy enough. I will be adding beat juice to the tires and either lead or concrete as bolt on wheel weights.
D_Mac 8,593 #11080 Posted May 7, 2021 Just got my package in the mail from @76c12091520h Hood latch and knob for the 1075. Nice to not hear the hood rattling around! 7
OutdoorEnvy 1,522 #11081 Posted May 7, 2021 Got all the new tires put on! Took about an hour and half but got my workout in and little fun with fire so not a bad morning. Kinda wishing I went with more of silver than a grey color on the rims but o'well. This tractor is my main worker so stopping and preventing rust was the main goal. I was surprised at the different stance appearance going with the 9.5" wides over the 7.5" that were on it. Looks like plenty of clearance for chains too all around. 5 7

Working on steep slopes here, I have no Idea how i didn't get killed before using Dug! Its so nice to have that resistance all the time, nothing to slip outta gear, and of course the ease of fwd and reverse. Now for speed or trail runnin I can see where the gear jammer would be preferred, but Dug just feels so much safer than any other critter I've used around our place. Even if I get on a slippery slope and its just too steep, there's no freewheeling, it just slides a bit untill I get enough traction again.
D_Mac 8,593 #11083 Posted May 7, 2021 (edited) Good thing about paint is if you are not happy with the color you can always repaint them ! When I did the 416-8 I used more of a silver color. Edited May 7, 2021 by D_Mac 7
OutdoorEnvy 1,522 #11084 Posted May 7, 2021 I like the matching color on the engine shroud wire screen. I may borrow that idea D_Mac. I do like the silver on that. Looks real sharp!

Ahead of the Curve 40 #11086 Posted May 7, 2021 Well my son Brandon and I spend some quality time taking his 414-8 from a winter workhouse to a summer work horse. Good times and made some more great memories. Happy to have another generation to appreciate and happy to own a Wheel Horse! 6 7

Mac - you get them - improve them - and then move them you would run out of room if you kept them your best project is the next project !

PeacemakerJack 10,738 #11089 Posted May 7, 2021 Got out Clyde (953) installed the grader and used it to clean up the edge of the field for summer mowing at dad’s... Thanks @Shynon again for selling this tractor to me for dad—he really enjoys using it for a variety of tasks. Plowed snow with it throughout the winter, rolled the lawn with it this spring...just plain a useful old machine to have around👍🏻 11 8

The grommet keeps cooling air from blowing out around the filter which they say can be critical on say a 520 with the engine twisted 90. 7 hours ago, squonk said: Wix does make an Onan filter with the wrench flats on it or did Still do ... I use the shorts on 520s with the nuts ... just easier to get them in there and out and tight.

The online pics I'm getting don't show the nut. Think they are just generic pics. Never should have tossed my filter book!
OldWorkHorse 3,045 #11092 Posted May 7, 2021 Well I introduce you to the missus new tractah... B-80 "FlowahPowah" still need to mount new tires and get rims painted and finish the decals but for the most part it's all done! 9 4

rjg854 11,349 #11094 Posted May 7, 2021 That's a horse of different colors to be sure What color will the wheels be? Has she decided on that? 2

Yer bros at Napa should be able to run with that number and give all the crosses. 1762 should be a short one no nuts.

Haha well rims will be yellow as well so will help distract you from the exhaust and she's got a bunch more decals to put on! And no I have not. So as of now "FlowahPowah" is in the to-go spot.
