Oh I know, I have buddies my age playing in the truck pulling game spending way too much $ to earn a $20 plastic trophy, I drove one time in my buddies $5k "street legal" 400 Pontiac powered GMC and got the truck a best distance ever of 262' for 2cd place, the other buddy has $50k in a short bed Chevy with about 10 trophies on the bookcase that was 7 years ago...I'll stick with my "street legal" car playing on the streets scaring old women and young children ... 3 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Aldon 4,826 #85 Posted January 27, 2018 Got above freezing and it’s been a while so I pulled the 314H out to start and assure battery is good, fluid levels ok etc. started right up:-) Also installed LED headlights. Two other reasons..1) Annual percipitation is ~ 12 inches so very little snow and grass is not quick to grow even if you can keep it alive enough to do so and 2) homes with land and outbuildings are beyond what I want to pay as I am gearing down for retirement in 10 years or so. Every time I find out something else about you Jeff, the more amazed I am at the similarities in our lives. My grandfather owned a Ford tractor dealership when I was a kid. I loved to hang around there, check out the new tractors, see what work was going on, ride around on the old Poppin' Johns and Farmalls that were taken in on trade, and best of all riding around in the shop rollback with my dad delivering and picking up equipment, Got a birthday coming up? I never would have imagined it.....being as for north as it is and nestled away in the Rockies. Its surprisingly arid, bordering on desert type conditions.
