imageproxy.php?img=&key=233175c88be08e9bCleaned up my new 312-8 some and mowed the yard for the first time with it.  I still need to do more detailing and decided not to use the bagger this time.  I'm not a big bagger guy anyway.  I also had to mow a little with the lawn ranger - can't let her get jealous😁.

Paul, I honestly haven't looked that closely at the spec plate.  I'm thinking it's a HH60, but I'll have to look next time I'm out in the shed. She's a little cold matured (about 1/4 choke for the first couple of minutes), but purrs like a kitten and pulls like a freight train once she's warm.  Never been a techy guy, but I love this little motor!

Interesting I have an HH70 on mine and she starts faster than any of the Kohlers.  Pull the choke out hit the starter as soon as she pops push choke all the way in and you can drive off even in winter.

We pulled the splitter out into the forest via the new path and bridge to split up a bit of red oak and some poplar.

Some pieces of the poplar are 17" across.

Had to walk down to the next little clearing to get the poplar. No tractor trail.

Beautiful scenery once again. Must be awesome coming home to that all the time. That would definitely be a labor of love. Nice job.👍

Thanks Richie!

It really is a wonderful place to come home to. Halfway up the side of a mountain. Small Mountain. But still a mountain. Scenery is awesome around here.

My honey and I were both pretty excited to be able to drag the splitter out into the woods and work on trees that we had not previously been able to touch.

Yesterday I mowed two yards with my 857, then I dropped the deck, adjusted the belts, cleaned it, greased it, sharpened the blades, then cut a third yard!

Today, I started cleaning up the 654 I bought late last year to get it ready for the Big Show. Someone started the restoration on it 22 years ago. It was all repainted and ready for the engine and they quit. It sat in storage for almost 22 years. I don't have the heart to repaint it again as it was sprayed with factory Wheel Horse spray cans. The engine sitting on it is an H55 that I have for my 551 tractor, but trying to locate an Tecumseh H60 for it. Hopefully can find a decent one soon. Have to rework the hood as it has some bad weld repairs, Sunshine Red looks to be an almost exact match for the color that is on the rest of it. Came with a diassembled and blasted deck shell but no spindles, an RM-36X which may not be correct. Boxes of new Tecumseh engine parts but no block, a new 3 spoke factory steering wheel (not correct), cans of factory spray paint, Tecumseh factory service manual, and other parts have not even been through yet. All for the ridiculous price of $275!

Tractor boy

Pulled the tires on the 312. Made the discovery that water and grease mix with no caps on them. Washed them and greased the axle. All put back together but still on the jack for oil change(s) next weekend.

I am currently resurecting a c111 to take over mowing dutys for my 655. The hilly acre of fast growing grass is a little too much for the 655.:deadhorse:

New taillights on Skittles. These babies are bright. Even in dim mode. I’ll be the most hated person in the friday night cruise. 😎

13 flash patterns with steady on(100%), brakelights (70%) or dim running lights (10%). Waterproof and guaranteed for 5 years. Thinking about getting some amber ones for the front where I was putting my led lights and putting my leds in the headlight spot.

Detailed the 312-8 a little more.  Put a set of weights I had bought Emory, but he claimed the real WH weights I got with my recent purchase.  No spinning now, but the deck is dirty from use.  I did hit the muffler with high heat to protect it-everything else I'd original.  I did pull the front hubcaps too, I just prefer the plain look - more purpose built In my opinion.

Spent most of the day in the shop yesterday cleaning, organizing, moving some things around. All in an effort to get the B80 in there to be worked on.

I've been to a few shows over the years but never brought anything of my own.

This year I've decided to bring my future "Patriot Horse". To at least one or two.

The painting project was put on hold last year so I could work on the Cinnamon C160.

Well late yesterday... My honey, not me.... ... Peeled all the sheet metal off the B and we ground off the rust and she washed the parts and primed them.

Here is a whole tractor pic with the splitter I took yesterday... "Before"

IMG_20180526_125108401_HDR.jpg.c5a08d94aacb09a56dc4fde82793cb1e.jpg

Couple other before pics.

IMG952018052695175849450.jpg.3143caf97d39d72b048fb65d88ad5a4c.jpg

(This is the blue we'll be using.)

IMG952018052695180017385.jpg.9c61f56b4b2e1f12f07f5b2aa71e2c7c.jpg

And some primed parts.

IMG_20180527_071832896.jpg.5efc21bcec0e5ed9e1f1f8fcb60cbb5e.jpg

IMG_20180527_071843059_LL.jpg.fbd29174b5f34091fc4cc10d4ee21f10.jpg

Steps will also be blue. They just didn't make it in to the photo shoot.

Engine and wheels will be antique white.

I already have a full set of stickers from @Vinylguy that will be installed as well.

When we get more time to completely disassemble the tractor the frame, seat base/tool box and steering tower will likely be repainted :wh: red.

Waterloo N.Y. is the "Official Birthplace of Memorial Day" It all started in 1865 when a group of villagers decided to honor their Civil War dead. In keeping up with this solemn occasion we have a 'Wheels on Main St. show on the Sunday before Memorial Day. There's a parade on Saturday, a Parade on Monday, a parade on the 30th which is the Official Memorial Day (at least around here), fireworks a few feet from my house, YOU NAME IT! :)

Well today rain is threatening and turnout is way down but I managed to sneek my 701 into the IH space. Their turnout is so small this year they didn't move my tractor without my knowledge :disgust::violence-blades:
