I went after it with 1000 to find what’s left of the original paint, then 1500 and a buffer. Killer patina, and sparkly. Very sparkly, like a holiday Kickin' it!! 4

WHX?? 48,823 #6753 Posted September 25, 2020 Took the 701 parts over to Tombstone Tom for sandblasting. I call him that 'cause he makes head stones too. Didn't want to do it 'cause now should primer to avoid flash rust and this is a winter project but heard that he is going in for knee replace and retire...dang the guy would blast a whole tractor for a Jackson! Some surprises some not but I know a guy that fabricates and welds. This girl has the most brazing I have ever seen on a tractor. Lots of broken bones this poor girl has suffered! 2 3

There is something so terribly wrong with using a WH to tow away the carcass of a WH which YOU DIRECTLY contributed to it's ultimate demise. For shame! *wags finger*
PeacemakerJack 10,738 #6763 Posted September 26, 2020 Got the opportunity to use the FEL on mommas Big Red today for a use other than intended and it worked great... moved an old reclining couch around and placed it in the trailer to take it to the dump! What a back-saver! How are you going to get the kids to build any "character" ? Remember when we used to move all our heavy stuff by hand and go to school 2 miles each way all uphill with our feet? And the winter...... EVERY DAY was a blizzard! When we moved a couch to the curb it was carefully placed on our shoulders and hauled out on rough ground while barefoot and our knees were knocking because of the weight. Ahhhhh the good ol days...... 2

Shed 248 #6768 Posted September 26, 2020 I have their 13000k generator I use to power my miller 220 welder out where ever I need to weld and the motor is great but the oil filters are a pain. I tried to stay away from fram extra filter but after several fails that's the only filter I could get to work correctly on that motor.

rjg854 11,372 #6771 Posted September 26, 2020 Finally got the transmission filters, so I changed the oil on the C160 and the 16 auto. Was mowing with the C160 when it just quit on me, seems the ignition switch went bad. Went to a GT repair shop here in town and the owner just happened to have a Raider out back that blew a rod and let me have the switch. All better now. Talked to him about the Raider and wound up buying it for a Grant. I'll go get it tomorrow. He told up until it blew the rod it was a good mowing tractor. Figured I couldn't go wrong for 50 bucks, lots of good parts. Pics to come tomorrow. 2
