Swing by sometime and we'll take a look at that 12HP K in the Cub. 2a). I'll get it running first, then we'll do a look see, compression test, whatever. Grass was soaking wet from all the rain yesterday and i hardly broke traction once. 7

johnnymag3 2,520 #5536 Posted June 28, 2020 (edited) This wire is breaking down inside the rock hard insulation. Did some cleaning, pulled valves, reinstalled. Making a new wire to the coil as this one is suspect Edited June 28, 2020 by johnnymag3 pictures add

Went through the wiring all the wires are in good shape, cleaned all connections and grounds and the battery has a full charge. I'm kinda stumped at this point but tomorrow is another day. Gonna study the manual tonight. And now for the rest of the story Come to find out, I took the battery had it load tested, only 5 cold cranking amps. Altho it read 12.53 volts. New battery and it fired right up So I'm back in business. Rebuild the carb and that should fix the idling problem. After that I should have all glitches sorted out. 8 2
ebinmaine 67,553 #5538 Posted June 28, 2020 Trina, her mom, Meeha mirror, and I spent some quality time in the woods today. I pulled 4 loads out to the shed and they did a fair amount of splitting. Could've done a bit more but thunderstorms were rolling in... Trina snapped a pic of this neat mushroom. I wish video was better at showing inclination angle. This is a fairly steep climb for a few feet. Note zero work on the part of the big 16. 6 2
