McGrew 460 #3451 Posted November 6, 2019 Achto, Sure thing! I’m pretty someone on this website posted a pic of a similar, if not identical voltmeter on their tractor, but the link to the one I bought is here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/US-Ship-DC-12V-LED-Panel-Digital-Voltage-Meter-Display-Voltmeter-Car-Motorcycle/122085414438?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I was wrong about the price... It was $7.99... I’ve mentioned before, I’m cheap! The cotter pin through the throttle knob was a necessity... Before I modified the linkage, the throttle was so hard to pull the knob started spinning on the shaft when I tried to lock it. The cotter pi solved that. At least for now. Will have to see how long it lasts! Thanks! Danny 1
Tractorhead 9,064 #3452 Posted November 6, 2019 (edited) have the same Voltmeter installed. allway‘s a good feeling, to see the Voltage is in proper range found mine at *bay, price one piece about 8€, 10 pieces each 2€. so i simply ordered 10 pieces, to have spare for some other purposes. JoeliusZ28 77 #3453 Posted November 6, 2019 (edited) This fall i installed tri-rib front tires to make steering easier with the snowblower (cant believe how much easier it steers now), and also did a trans flush. Then i used it to turn the garden over. Looking for a tiller attachment before next spring, the furrow plow just doesn’t break everything up no matter how many passes you make. The tri-ribs look nice. Are they the firestone 16/6.5-8?
cleat 5,934 #3455 Posted November 6, 2019 A plow is only designed to turn the soil not break it up. You need either a tiller or a disk harrow to break it up more.

That soil looks like it might benefit from just a disc, after you’ve plowed it. Looks great!
DevonianHorse 271 #3458 Posted November 9, 2019 Earlier in the year, the Horse was not happy and then eventually stopped running completely, it had a replacement ignition switch (the old one had loose terminals) and a carb service and it is good as new Just did some odd jobs around the garden, can't say how good it is to have the Horse up and running again It has quite an easy life but beats pushing a wheelbarrow around all day 2
rjg854 11,361 #3459 Posted November 9, 2019 Had a slow leak on a rear tire that's been a real PITA. Broke the tire down cleaned up the bead on the rim and made sure the tire was nice and clean. I think I may have got a good seal on it now. It's an original tire , but it's still in pretty decent shape. 4
DBlackston 298 #3460 Posted November 10, 2019 Put the head back on the K181 on the 854. Finished putting the HY-3 pump back together and got it and the cylinder mounted. Test fit the hood stand fittings for my HY-3 rockshaft build. 6
Bear G 690 #3461 Posted November 10, 2019 Stretch Modifications I removed the old bumper (1st pic) and installed new brush guard. Also moved the air tank to where the battery used to be. Added air pressure gauge. Installed another set of horns on the right side to better match left side. New aluminum wheels & tires. Hope Karl Storhy will approve. 4 6

Pullstart 62,839 #3463 Posted November 10, 2019 @Bear G good to see you on here! I bet @Shynon ... can’t wait to hear the (horn) changes comin’ comin’ ‘round the horse stalls, he ain’t heard the horns since last July in Portage WI that was a poor rendition of a good country song I know! I bet Stretch sounds as good blowing steam as it does revving up! 1

pfrederi 17,734 #3466 Posted November 11, 2019 Something that doesn't happen much around here...shipping out a WH. Loaded up a Charger 12 that I have fixed up for my older brother to use. He has a Ford 8N for the driveway but up around the house and paths for the dog he was wrestling with an old walk behind blower. This will be easier for him. In addition to the wheel weights I have 70 lbs of weights to go on the 2" receiver hitch. 5

pfrederi 17,734 #3468 Posted November 11, 2019 Woke up the snow horses and got them out of the storage shed and up to the shop. I swear they put a poison pill in the batteries these days so they crater right after their 3rd Birthday. 5
Tractorhead 9,064 #3469 Posted November 11, 2019 I still guess, there was no poison at all in the game, the horses are simply offended... that‘s the revenge of them, they simply empty the batteries to annoy you. 😂
