Went back to the garage to tighten it up and found it was stripped. That was on the free 48" deck so no problem there. I do hate to have to work on equipment when I need to be mowing. I could have use the C-120/180 but the deck Idler was making a racket when I did the back yard Saturday. I do have a couple new spindles that my friend made last fall. So off with the deck to change it out. With a 1 1/8" wrench on the bottom and the air wrench on top It came right apart and the spindle fell out. That went better then I expedited. The new one didn't go quite as good, had to lay a little persuadesion on it with a rubber hammer. Then to get it back on the tractor. Those decks didn't seam so heavy 40 years ago. I going to start using the chain hoist to raise the front of the tractor and just roll the deck out and in. I got it fixed and the yard mowed by 4:30. Got the idler bearings ordered and a idler apart on the work bench waiting on a new bearing. Like the chain hoist idea. The 48"ers are hard to slide under the tractor. They are getting heavier

We have done business with this person before and always seems to be upfront.. Said the Carb. could use some TLC but if its not broken don't fix it. LOL . So really just got to add my own touches and enjoy it!!

Keeping track of my keys is usually a lot priority as most of my cars don't need them. My stuff is so old the ignition locks are all worn out. I think there was four or five? Keys that Wheelhorse used over the 50 or 60 plus years.

ohiofarmer 3,265 #2669 Posted July 9, 2019 I found out that the commando 800 has a fuel pump driven by air pulse and not by a lever. Cleaned up and it still works 👍. Wonderful and simple design built to last. One spring two pucks and a diaphragm.
