So decided the 1257Heavy needs a snorkel, no reason just needs 1... so made a adapter and have sum 90° silicone intake elbows coming in so somthing should come together. Also have 2 K&N air filters coming. 1 is the wrong size but the jungle site don't mess around and had that shipped within 2hrs of me ordering it so couldn't cancel it. I'll find a use sumwhere. Kinda nice having a engine sitting around for a template.

Actually... not hard at all pullstart...

I will make a video soon... just haven't had the time yet. Tomorrow is going to be a really big day... so maybe I will get to making a video by this weekend. I have to get it uploaded on youtube once I do... so hopefully it will be coming soon!

I will say... it is just about as hard to start as any of my other engines. You would think... as big as the engine parts are... it would be really hard to start... but really... as long as you give it a little gas when choked and move it to run quickly... I only have to pull it once or twice to get going.

Regards,

Don

@SylvanLakeWH , love the oil bath reference  the oil soak is so simple and saving to any metal , I  don't even think about it , been doing it for so long , also did my springs to blade bolts years ago , just looking at the change , why not ? you want to retain patina ? give it a couple of oil rub downs .  keep it oily , pete

Last night finished up Dug's prep. Got the grease gun after all the zerts, popped on the now red front bearing caps, and finally got the LED ornament wired in to the lighting switch. Now to switch gears to camp prep for the next couple of evenings to be sure everything is there, serviceable, and have all I think we'll need.

Doing a compare test today after Mowing.

instead the Makita Accu pressure washer i used today the normal House Water Hose to clean it up.

The Difference is - impressive as i found.

First the Pict with the Makita Battery Pressure Washer (12 Bar) and 7 Litres of Water

Next Pict with just Spray it down with the hose connected to the House Water system ( 4Bar) and about 20-30 litres of Water

My own compared results confirms for me, that thing is definitely worth it‘s money.

At least i finished a little Project.
