D_Mac 8,619 #11627 Posted May 27, 2021 Well I did a little painting again. Took my nice BLACK trailer and made it a nicer Regal Red trailer. I really like how the custom wood grain decals made by @Vinylguy, for the 857, go with the nice wood look of the trailer. Also after @squonk installed the stack on the 1075, I painted the muffler with some High Heat paint and put the Baby Moons back on. Add the Hot Rod Trailer on the back of that one and you got one " Big Block, Short Frame, Tall Stack, Baby Moon ", coooool looking tractor. 3 5
squonk 41,118 #11628 Posted May 27, 2021 That trailer will barely make it out of your driveway with those utility trucks there!
D_Mac 8,619 #11629 Posted May 27, 2021 It is almost as wide as the driveway !!!
Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #11630 Posted May 28, 2021 Well, hate to say it...i let the smoke out. And anyone who deals w/ voltage and amps can tell ya, keepin the smoke in is a MUST for correct operation of electrical systems! Looks like the original harness had the coil wire wrapped tight around a ground, and over time.....sooooo, got me some wiring to do! 1
kpinnc 12,049 #11631 Posted May 28, 2021 Yep, keeping the magic blue smoke in DC electrical stuff is an operational requirement. But you can always put it back in with a few new parts!
Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #11632 Posted May 28, 2021 Yep! Fortunately i managed to sort out everything and can see where everything goes, i yanked the coil wire loose from the eyelet, but it, the start relay wire, main hot coming back from the start relay supply side, and a couple others got good and glowing before I got er shut down, and the battery cable off. 3
Roger R 448 #11633 Posted May 28, 2021 Had a similar issue recently on my charger 12. Now everything but the starter is fused. Better to change a fuse than the wiring.
Lane Ranger 10,968 #11634 Posted May 28, 2021 (edited) Did some mowing, dirt hauling and other maintenance jobs at my mother’s place this week. Used a couple tractors for the various jobs. A 312-8 and a 314-8 ! Edited May 28, 2021 by Lane Ranger 8

Seem like they are a pretty soild tire so far and easy enough to mount!

How do you get it back into the loom from out of the jar? surely as soon as you take the lid off, it escapes? Are there different types of smoke? Why doesn’t it always escape when a connected wire breaks, or you cut it? 🤔🤔🤔⚡️⚡️💥🔥 1

Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #11644 Posted May 29, 2021 Well I managed to get the smoke back in! I had to rig an impromptu hadron collider to release the smoke particles back from the surrounding atmosphere, capture the smoke molecules in a magnetic field , and then use my rail gun to fire the molecules back into the wiring, now bear in mind this all has to be done in a near perfect vaccum! 3 2
