Don Scroll back a few posts and you'll see where I put a video in. If it's the one I'm thinking of the guy installs pieces of threaded rod right through the back of the wheel and then pours the concrete.

Don Take a look at the dual wheel adapters in the drawings in the implements section. It wouldn't need to be that heavy as the concrete will hold it in place.
Maxwell-8 4,277 #11403 Posted May 17, 2021 (edited) After I read that the Sears-forum is gone shut down because have financial concerns. I finally got around to buy my "support" member ship. Wich allows me to show a pic of my work today. Got some spare time and had these old WH rims with Goodyear AG's laying around. Probably not gone keep them, but I think the "test"-one turned out very well. If tomorrow there is no rain, It's the other one's turn. Bailey855 166 #11407 Posted May 17, 2021 Nice horse! 1965 is my year. I’ve decided to focus on that year alone. I just let my 84 c-195 go, killed me but it didn’t fit in the short frame crew lol. And maybe he would trade for a 4 wheel cart lol that’s about the only thing I would swap for. And cash of course. I don’t beleive the pto is worth as much as the cart??

Don I believe the bolts that are mounted to the wheels before the concrete is poured are cast in the concrete...then remove the weight, paint, or polish, then stick the bolts through the holes and tighten with a suitable nut.

I believe I would get one of those concrete form tubes from a home improvement store that was of a suitable diameter, cut to desired depth or "height", hot glue a cardboard bottom in it with suitable bolts in place, pour concrete while poking to make all air pockets rise and ensure smooth sides... so on and so on... Ed Kennell 38,227 #11424 Posted May 18, 2021 54 minutes ago, elcamino/wheelhorse said: @Ed Kennell How are the weights mounted on the rims? Jim, I made a set like this many years ago. I used the bottom 3rd of a 5gallon bucket that just fit inside the wheel. Drilled 4-1/2" holes to match the holes in the wheels. Installed 4 studs in the wheel with a nut on each side to keep the studs in the correct position while I slid the bucket down over the studs and poured the bucket full of concrete. The studs are cast in the concrete. I wrapped some tie wire around the studs before pouring .
