Tach-a-matic 357 #10709 Posted April 23, 2021 (edited) The tire shop broke the beads for $0 and I finished the rest. I'm accustomed to stiff dirt bike tires with tubes/rim locks so these are a piece of cake. Gained a bit on the cut height which is a big plus Much less steering effort and they look sweet Edited April 24, 2021 by Tach-a-matic 4
haydendavid380 759 #10710 Posted April 23, 2021 A couple of parts orders came in today. The new seat looks amazing! Got a chrome lug set, a little piece to fill the grill until I get my headlights sorted out, a plug for the hour meter hole, and some filters. 4
8ntruck 7,014 #10711 Posted April 23, 2021 I put the headlight lens that arrived in the mail from @Darb1964 today: Before: After: How does the headlight bucket come out? Looks like mine is riveted to the hood. The left hand socket is sketchy and the white paint on the bucket is shot and needing a re-spray.
squonk 41,137 #10712 Posted April 23, 2021 Yup . Drill out the rivets. I use small screws and nuts to reinstall.

I got them to ensure better ground. I'd send a couple if ya like. @haydendavid380 that seat is beautiful. Did you share your source? The headlamp filler is cool too. I'd almost be prone to keeping that in and adding headlamps outside.

Tach-a-matic 357 #10717 Posted April 24, 2021 (edited) 8 hours ago, Horse Newbie said: Where'd you get that blade height gauge ?...and how does it work ? Its a great tool! To measure front to rear deck pitch Place tractor on a flat and level surface, Line up the blades to a North/South orientation, Position the tip of the tool underneath the outermost corner of the "north" blade tip, Lightly push up on the tip of the tool so it just kisses the bottom blade and see what the reading is Repeat for the south blade and check the reading As shown above, my deck is just about level so the front of the deck could be lowered a smidge to give it some downward pitch. I'd raise the deck wheels a notch on the lever but thats already maxxed out. For side to side measurement turn blades to East/West. Take a reading underneath the outermost West (left) blade's tip corner Take a reading underneath the outermost East (right) blade tip corner Hopefully it is close because I dont think a WH deck has any side to side adjustability https://247parts.com/am130907-mower-deck-level-gauge-1/?gclid=CjwKCAjwg4-EBhBwEiwAzYAlsg6IK879EEA2oK9OvhwZNPsxIUk7v1jCfbapxUb-TVtwIPmIEtLaJxoC-UYQAvD_BwE Edited April 24, 2021 by Tach-a-matic 1

I got my Tillotson 212r put in... (runs great), but I do plan to swap back to my Tillotson stage 1 (governor removed) once I get the parts I need to fix it... I ran the exhaust piping through what was the gas filler hole. I did also put a steel flap (10 dollars at a farm store) on the top of the exhaust pipe (not shown in these photos). I fabricated a cupholder and a piston shifter, (the piston came out of my original Tecumseh engine!). I think the black engine with the black tractor looks exceptional! Here are some pics: Wow man, that tractor has a awesome look to it.
