peter lena 8,627 #10051 Posted March 29, 2021 that pto rod end is no problem , its a 3/8x 16 thread, for the trunion , I just go over that thread wit a 3/8 x 24 die nut to match the heim joint thread. lubricating oil during rethread. its simple and easy , done it a number of times. often when I am a service area , I can also improve a related issue , so I do it , pete

That looks a little oversized Edited March 29, 2021 by Tractorhead
Ed Kennell 38,175 #10055 Posted March 29, 2021 Had several days of rain, so I hooked up the roller and mashed down some bumps. 11
D_Mac 8,619 #10056 Posted March 29, 2021 Got the newly acquired 875 off the back of the truck and gave it a bath. Now to figure out what it needs and what I want to do with it. 5
Lane Ranger 10,968 #10057 Posted March 29, 2021 Mowed the lawn today for the first time this year. Serviced the 314 and 42 inch recycler deck. I was able to get my tractor sun shade and one of the mid-grader blades installed on my 854. Also charged up battery on my 701 with the CBR-327 chain drive sickle mower. 5

Gregor 4,846 #10064 Posted March 30, 2021 OK Now I feel a little ashamed, and a whole lot-a stupid. Remember back when I tried putting the hood on my 656, but it was gone? Guess what? It seems I now have a spare hood, for my next 656. It was buried in my tow behind lawn cart, under a folded tarp, some of my wifes potting supplies, and the grandkids sleds. Went to use my cart yesterday day, and VIOLA ! But I do feel better knowing that someone didn't come into my driveway and simply take it 1 2

Gregor 4,846 #10066 Posted March 30, 2021 I took the 2 headed snow blower off the 656. It's in storage. I don't think it is going to snow again this season. On the down side, I never got a chance to try it out. On the upside, I have located another 1964 Lawn Boy model 1818 snowblower. You don't suppose?????? 1

Damien Walker 246 #10071 Posted March 30, 2021 Scarified the lawn. I have lots of moss. Powered scarifier on the 518H (power steering) and the vacuum on the C175 enabled two passes and created probably 60-70 cu ft of moss. Anyone want to make hanging baskets? Moss is pretty ideal for nice damp basket linings.
Lane Ranger 10,968 #10072 Posted March 30, 2021 Gases, greased, checked oil and out for a drive! Four of the five RJ’s got some sun today! Suppose to reach 70 today in Indiana! Plus got the 702 out and warmed up. Still have work to do on the $60 RJ I bought for my brother David. I have two repaired and repainted RJ hoods and will pick best application for this rj. Already have a rebuilt showerhead muffler (rebuilt with new Kohler muffler front premed on old Kohler showerhead rear) . 3

D_Mac 8,619 #10074 Posted March 30, 2021 So today I degreased and cleaned the deck. Needs a patch on top but not to bad. Decided to try it on for size. Goes on easy enough. All my other Wheel Horses had the front mule drive so I wanted to make sure this set up was all there. I'm going to use the deck on my 857 after it is repaired and painted. I still have not tried to start it yet.... soon. 5
