I see under user names it lists member number. I wonder?  Who is number 1? Which number is the lowest, still active member?

I was looking for a numbered member list myself a couple weeks ago but didn't find one.  Curious about the same thing!

I looked up administrators. Figured there was a good chance, it was one of them.

Attached a wall base strip to reduce blowup

New Ammeter

Went for a test drive to adjust the carb, test the new PTO clutch, belts and the throttle would not stay in position for long so drilled hole through the rivet and sex bolted it tight to increase friction

She's just about done until I can do some mowing (~3 weeks out). If all goes well (engine and trans work under heat and a good load) next is some Firestone Tri-Ribs like on this Ariens to make the steering (a lot!) easier and raise the front a little for more cut height (and they're 40 yrs old anyway!)

Got the K341 Thumper degreased and on the engine stand to evaluate for a rebuild.

I can tell already, it needs a new dipstick.

Tuneup

Went to Wally World and bought a couple of quarts of Mobil 1 15W-50 for the Eaton 7. Time for that oil change, but tomorrow. Connected the 516 PTO to the 520H trans - bought it non-running. Is the trans good? It marked the concrete nicely and the lift is operational so that's fun. 520H back to the shed and played at blowing Bermuda dirt around the yard with the 516 for a while. Moved the 48" shell to the other end of the garage. The HF welder sits on the bench awaiting my first training session. When I'm good enough, the deck gets the treatment. A good day.

Thank you all, it's a labor of love lol. It would have been more rugged but my auto dimming welding helmet decided it didn't wanna work anymore and almost blinded me half way though a weld! So grabbed my broken strap 1 and finished the weld till another day. :tools-wrench::scared-shocked:

Haha! Funny stuff!

So the short story is a friend of mine started RS as a high school project to set up a website/forum. He asked me to join so I did, that’s how I became the second member.

My friend Chris @whchris has not been on this site in years, but he was member #1 although his profile shows his member number up in the 5000 plus range.
