I don't think you will find the Firestone turfs anymore, but the HI-Runs at TSC, or Trac Gard brand on eBay or Amazon Wal-Mart ect for "true" to size cheaper option, of course there is the Carlisle Turf Trac, I personally don't care for those "Chevron" tread style you have mounted not much traction grass or snow, but they are cheap. Just a few off the top of my head. BTW 2 ply ride better 4 ply hold up longer and 6 ply are too hard IMO for traction but definitely better in rough thorns/briers type situations.

The tires he has on the tractor are Armstrong 22 x 7.50 x 12 came on the 300 series.  They grip better then the Carlisle Turf Trac but that isn't saying much.

grinding the plowhitch a little at a 0,5mm on both out sides to be able slide it into the the Trailerhitch.

So i can mount both together by using a longer 3/4“ Bolt.

After that doing a Test ride to dump the Cardboard trash to next Collector Container about  5 Km far.

Nice ride but  cold.

While I was installing the new belt on the 312H, I noticed a wonky camber on the right front wheel.  Pulled it off to find this.

Lucky the spindle wasn't damaged.   Put on a new wheel and while I had this on for size, I made a set of 2 link front chains.

Curious, do you find standard chain works well on front? Would seem that while turning they would slide along / on the direction of the chain...?

I have them on my 520 Jim.   It has a 54" blade and it steers pretty well.    If I try to push a full blade in really  heavy snow with the blade angled, it will push me away from the snow.

I use the 520H with the 2 link chains on all four mainly on the stone road and grass trails.   For the paved driveways, I use the 312H w/ rubber chains.

@Ed Kennell Do the rubber chains work as good as the regular 2 link?

I have had two that would not hold the bearing and one spindle cut up but never one that bad. I still have both wheels on the back of my wagon.

I used a thin piece of metal and bushing and drove it into the wheel. Both wheels came off the right side, one on my C-120 and the other on the 1989 520-H when I bought it.

On snow covered paved driveways the rubber works better.    On the stone roads, grass, and ice or packed snow, steel is best

Mike in NC

It was last week, but I installed new front tires and tubes. When I put air in the old ones, it sounded like a zipper when the side wall ripped. They have been bad for a while. Now I just need to fill them with fluid. The old ones were fluid filled.

That is a 50lb. USBW&M certified Toledo Scale calibration weight.        I used these back in the day for dynamometer calibration.    The were scrapped ( to Ed's bone yard) when we went to electronic load cells.
