While on the subject, what's the farthest you have driven, to pick up a Wheel Horse.  7 hours  round trip for me.

With or without the big show?  That’s 650 miles each way, five or take.  2018 and 2019 I brought home at least 3 more than I came with.

Otherwise, probably Uncle Jim’s in WI... but went for other reasons.

Someone tell me again, when and where is the "big show". All I know for sure is a fairgrounds some place, the Friday after Fathers Day.  I need to Mapquest it. Thanks  Greg

For us it would be about 175 miles one way to pick up a gift for Trina from @Herder

That was the 856 that'll be the military tribute tractor soon.

Soon  means " a very short time" I sure you didn't mean that.  Let's put it this way " Eric would just as soon Trina did that tractor".

Oh no no.

Trina is GOING to do that tractor.

She's already said so.

All I'll do is open/rebuild/close transmission. Maybe a little assembly.

No wiring. No cables.

Round two of the tire challenge is coming up shortly.  I have my slightly disfigured triangle of a replacement tire and the HF mini tire changer arrived.  Hoping this round goes smoother.  If not.... It's tube time.  Anyone have a standard tube size / part number available?  I couldn't find one in my search with the correct valve stem.

I had the same reaction when I got a new tire and it was scrunched into a box. Apparently ok as the shop was able to mount it in two shakes of a lambs tail. Good luck!

Yessir.

I'm going to leave the engine as is. ... With the possible exception that I might run the shut-off switch up to the dash instead of leaving it on the engine.

Rope or drill start.

Single setting RPM.

What glue did you use for the brake band?

Very nice! I used Shoo Goo on the 120 and the 125. It's been a year. No issues. The brakes are too sensitive. Makes one want to squirt just a little oil on them - almost.

Big thanks to Triple Jack in Sharpsburg and a 225 mile roundtrip right through Atlanta town, I was able to secure a very nice 520H so I have both the 48" deck AND the 1100 trans I've always wanted. The hydraulic lift is just a nice add - the front ags are sweet and will go onto the 125 ASAP. I'll strip it in the summer for a full restore. The 20 has to come apart for cylinder inspection but Jack says it will run. Everything appears to be there and I didn't even have to leave Georgia to get it! P216 gets its other head done today so might have it running next weekend. I actually have a couple pics! The old Ranger made it home with plenty of downshifting into the mountains. The old girl worked hard and burned about 3/4 of a tank.

I've used clear silicone multiple times. No issues.

Biggest thing is proper prep.

Make sure it's all clean.

Wire wheeled the band and cleaned with brake cleaner then stuck together with E6000+. I'd assume that should be fine?

I'm not familiar with E6000. Looks like an industrial adhesive.

Seems usable.

I agree must be clean --works the best--great to see the fix.
