Not only did fix both sides of the hood stand, he also took care of a couple of cracks that were in the belt guard.

Achto 27,577 #7439 Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) Today was a winter prep day for me. My Suburban Rat rod and Terrance (my 857) both received an oil change. Then I ran them out of fuel and put them in hibernation. My C-145 received an oil change, a grease job and chains put on the rears in preparation for snow plow duty. Ariens walk behind snow blower got an oil change and prepped for duty. My 8000w Baldor generator received an oil change, air filter, new spark plugs, and then I ran it out of fuel & put it in hibernation. Still have a few more tractors to get ready for hibernation. Pretty much the same here ... stuffed six tractors in a 10x24 rent a garage since the demise of the fake garage. Did not run them out of gas but gave each a dose of seafoam and stabil. Did pull all batteries for storage in the shop tho. Plus a Z turn and a motor cycle trailer. Left the ones out I need to love this winter. Whose idea was it to be tractor heavy anyway!?!?!?

The cleanliness of piston and inside of the head indicates that you are using a fair amount of oil. i usually spray Deep creep in the head to clean out the carbon. i am fairly certain that the bore of the piston is greater as the piston descends. Having bought these three tractors, a c-121, and two c-145 class plus a deck and front blade and an extra set of ags for a total of $400, i am still happy.. i need to use the bore gauges and a feeler to get a quick idea of what is going on with the cylinder bore. at least one tractor has a decently tight bore that is .015 larger piston with an unknown rebuild date. I have been busy with other issues on these tractors so far, but they are coming along. Actually, a decent looking c-160 might be joining us soon. When it rains , it pours. 1
