We had a brand new one at the dealership, no later than 1987, but man was she a beaut! Pretty sure the boss just ordered it to put on the showroom floor to flex. Chrome muffler, air cleaner, hub caps, high back leather seat with arm rests. It's good to be the king! 1986 this was brand new 3 years ago sold it then Just got it back.

Tractorhead 9,064 #6829 Posted September 29, 2020 Brought today Kati back home. release that day from the Offivce for some driver Jobs but in between i had few hour‘s „Horsetime“ So firstly i give my 656 a small cleanup. Than i decided to remount the Chomepipe and do a SPL measuring compared to the Pepperbox. On the Pepperbox it was 86db with the Chomepipe it was 87db. It is measured not really louder than the pepperbox, but it have much more SPL in the Bass Line. Than i decided to remove today the Deck for a completely cleanup and even a rework. In this time (next few day‘s) the 212 Horse must do the mower Job. The 656 is only for Funriding... While my mower actions i hear about a scratching noise each time, i lifted the Deck. an closer inspection show‘s me, there was few dull‘s in the Beltcover what let the cover scratching onto the Deck - time to fix that. Firstly remove it - whoooohoooo - ya looks sexy.. 😎 after removed felt a half ton of old grease, i found some more Red on the Frame. i decide to carefully remove all the old grease, to find out, what‘s under. Much better than i expected. Covered over the Time in grease. - after this is finished, i get the dulled Cover and try to realign it. P that seems good enough maybe.. ? next issues going to be prepared. The greatest for me is, to have now my own Workshop in a Shed, that is big enough to do all that things covered under a roof and wind shielded. Temp dending on Paintjobs, but still warm enough, to work each day a little bit. 7

peter lena 8,637 #6832 Posted September 29, 2020 GREENTORED, instead of waxing , first give it a very thorough , clean cloth rub down with MARVEL MYSTERY OIL , TO FEED THE PAINT ,and cut thru the crud, wipe it down to dry , and watch it shine , i do that a couple of times on every painted surface, also do the engine tins , 2 times will pull out the paint , then you can wax it , send us a before and after picture , good pick up on a very solid horse, good luck with it , pete

Achto 27,609 #6837 Posted September 30, 2020 (edited) OK guys, don't get your shorts in a bunch. Gee's Jim, I was gonna wait till I mounted it on a tractor to show pictures. I had inquired about a center blade that was part of a package sale. Seller said that he was going to wait to see if the package sold and to hit him up in a couple weeks. I patiently waited about 4 weeks before I contacted him again. At that time he was willing to part with the blade and offered it at a price that I could not refuse. It's in pretty good shape. I can't wait to be able to play with it. Edited September 30, 2020 by Achto 10

ohiofarmer 3,276 #6844 Posted October 1, 2020 Getting to the point of what HAVENT I done to the wheel horse today?? First, I am all cranky about my back going out then back in, then really hurting-- for days now, so forgive me that... I have two black hoods that I have 2 black hoods that we will call a c-141 and 145 that I thought would be running, and having gotten them started, we just get deeper into the rabbit hole. You cannot remove the gas tanks without the transmission filter, The main engine tins are all blown out around the coil mount bolts, and on one, the PO allowed the transmission pulley to freeze and it roached the disconnect lever for the transmission!. That transmission lever has an olong hole macined in it, so not an easy fix without machine tools. These machines with under seat tanks also have a talent for breaking off the frame horns on the rear frame tunnel. I have managed to grind down bed frame angle iron with one narrow slot for the trans lever . aRRRG!! The model number seems to be a 1114KE01 the other is a 14KE02 [ I think] Remarkably the disconnect lever is different on each

Note the caps on the word. Traction is about grabbing and you can't push down into the ground without enough weight. I've used all combinations of turfs, ags, chains and no chains. The best traction I've had is with turfs and chains. The AG tires tend to let the chains fall into the wide tread thereby decreasing usefulness of the chain. Lots of weight. ALOT. If you have an asphalt driveway you can use rubber chains with great effect.
