I would suggest you go back and turn the field over another time going across what has been done then come back in a few months to do the tilling. Those long weeds will load up on the tiller if you don't give them time to break down.

JCM 9,130 #6253 Posted August 26, 2020 Worked on the footrests for the 420 today. It seems on this model they painted the area black for the carriage bolts and the 3 holes where the pad bends up to the rear fender when it was built from what i can gather for info. The heads of the bolts where also painted black. Made a cardboard template to cover the red then sprayed the black. Last step will be to stick the new pads on. 6
AMC RULES 37,127 #6254 Posted August 26, 2020 (edited) Finished all the hoods metal work today, thing is rock solid now and fitting tighter than OJ's gloves. The usual broken front mounts multiple issues fixed...all holes welded up...and the broken seams (both sides)... tacked back together. Finished up with an application of a paintable automotive seam sealer to the underside to fill the gap which will have it ready to be stripped to bare metal tomorrow and back into fresh paint like glass by C.O.B. Pullstart 62,789 #6261 Posted August 26, 2020 I’d run it! Talk about conversation starter, the extra carry space, plus when mowing you could toss a foil packet dinner on there and be ready to eat by the last blade clipping! 2
bottjernat1 2,190 #6262 Posted August 26, 2020 Bought a d series snow plow for my d-160. she needs a little work but over all its mostly there. Im super happy with it. it measures 56 inch across. it had a bend in it but i fixed it yesterday a 4x4 post and a 4lb sledge on the concrete slab. Boom straight again. I think i did good i drove 1 hr and paid $60. all i need is the big handle and rod. I sprayed it all down and got things loosen up yesterday. Im hoping to try and mount it today after work. unless it really gets to 100 today then i may wait till tommorow

adsm08 2,022 #6268 Posted August 26, 2020 (edited) Been real busy with work and kids and cars lately, so I haven't been around much. This weekend on Flea-Bay I found an 8-5551 hitch kit for $150 shipped, so I jumped on that and found it waiting when I got home, so the 800 got a front accessory bracket after dinner: Thanks to @gwest_ca for pointing me in the direction of that bracket set with a part number some months ago. I'm thinking the next step is getting two front tires that are the same size and hold air for more than a day. Edited August 26, 2020 by adsm08 3

8ntruck 6,991 #6273 Posted August 27, 2020 My first thought is that was one of @ebinmaine tractors after he had an oops with some of the tree work he does...........
D_Mac 8,593 #6274 Posted August 27, 2020 I guess I am to blame since I let him operate it. He did tell me he plows city sidewalks in the winter time. I also let my 6 yr old nephew drive my tractors. Well now I know better. Not to worry though it has already been repaired. Lesson learned. Could have been much worse. Next time if any of you are interested in buying one of my tractors I am not going to let you test drive it !!!
