While i have heard and read so many times,

that the mounting Bolt for Attachements in the rear of the Gearbox is hardly rusted in a short timeline,

i decide to mount a greasenipple to prevent that.

 

 

so i be able to grease it regulary. 

i love things they can be simply maintained.

 

when the Attachement is lifted, i can simply grease the nipple and reduce wear and rust.

 

after that i mounted the reworked Seat and mow the Front and Backyard with it.

Boy that‘s real comfy.

Ok, it Wasn’t perfect, but it is a blast to take a seattime with it.

 

 

 

Close before i finished, delivery company arrives and bring my new Muffler i had allready ordered,

so i changed also the Muffler to the new One, but it was too late, to do a testride with it.

don‘t know how loud it is. 

 

After that Action was taken i must flee, while Moskitos tend to eat me.

felt 100.000 Stitches, and no repellant works.

Actually we had felt zillions of that Beasts on a squaremeter.

My first step in removing a stuck pin is to drill a hole in each half of the case into the pin.    I then fill the holes with penetrant  and let it soak for months.

 

After the pin is removed I tap the holes and install grease fittings.

 

 

 

Those SKEETERS can be dangerous.    Some can carry a virus that can be transferred to humans through their bite.

My wife's sister is allergic to insect bites and is deathly afraid of mosquitos.

Don‘t know why we had this year that much of that Beasts.

Normally we just have a few, but this year it is definitely a plague.

 

 

Think i ain‘t doing wrong with the grease nipple mount, 

Even the grease come out on both sides, that give me a good feeling.

No really Norm ...Ill go get a pic of them roots... big as your wrist and they stop you cold! Only choice is to back up and lift the plow.

 I don't have the standard pin on any of my tractors. I use an agricutural tractor trailer pin. A few thou' less in diameter than the standard pin and quicker to remove than the standard fitted with circlips. Has a lynch pin on the other end of the chain through the pin end.

Organize, make a mess, repeat.  ‘Cept I’m better at the mess, not so better at organize.  Sorting and compiling all the projects.  It’s exciting yet saddening, there is so much to do it seems.  
 

The engine in Poppy the 552 needs to go to Uncle Jim’s.  I think I might get the sickle bar put back to DB parts only and scrap the Jari bar... reassemble on Steve and send it down the road ( @bottjernat1 ) without the engine possibly.  I think Rylee wants the front ag tires and I’ll toss some turfs on the rear.

Found that my gas leak was from the fuel line rubbing on the steering gear. Replaced the entire line and fuel filter. Discovered a cracked shifter boot so thats on order. Whats the procedure on replacing that? This thing is so enjoyable to work on. 1 phillips bit and a half inch socket and the whole machines apart

good deal!  If you unscrew that shift knob and it looks like you’ve got enough tins off, the boot slides right off the shifter

Finally got ticked off at the 753... the one Kev like to putt on and give mouth to mouth resuscitation  to... and got it back in the shop.

Thought I had the lack of bang juice problem licked with a good carb cleaning which it needed anyway.  Put her to work last weekend and she quit again so now can be only two things sediment bowl plugged or fuel pump. 

Yup fuel pump intermittent no worky so pulled it off to find it's a pulse style with gunk in it. Apart and In the Berryman's she goes with a pm to @buckrancher to see about a diaphragm.

I bought a York rake a while ago

 

It's 6 foot wide and weighs about 400 lbs, it really does the job.

BUT

It's a god awful color 

 

I couldn't take it anymore. So....

Once the tines get loaded up they just tend to roll over the trash until you get to the end of the row and dump them. They o a great job, just need to be dumped when loaded up.

I'M sure it would work for that purpose. They are used for stone or dirt. Just depends on how deep you want to set the tines. If you want to just use it as a rake you'd set the tines so they just barely touch the surface.  Swing the angle of the blade one way or the other and get some seat time 

We use them to grade lawns, stone or whatever
