I could be wrong, but in this picture which is a listing for a gt14 with a snowblower, looks like a johnny bucket leaning against the wall. Not postive but i messaged him and if its for sale and its cheap enough like 3 or 4 hundred ill grab that as well!

next time i ask a upholstery company to get a new surface on a Seat.

 

I do as suggested, but it be not easy to get a clean Surface.

firstly i derusted the contact Areas with grinding fleece and repaint it with a rusprevention paint in black.

 

 

 

 

 

Than i let it dry over night.

 

 

Next Day i take a look at the Paint and it seems ready for the next Step.

I glued the foam arround and on the contact surface and even also the Skin.

 

 

 

i let it dry for 15 min as suggested and than i try to stick it on the Seat.

 

firstly begun in the middle of the Seatpan what seems so far not Bad at all.

i pressed the skin onto the middle section on the seatpan and roll it out to the sides.

 

than i pulled it with pliers on the sidesections, with maximum force i can handle to get it wrinklefree.

but it failed. I can not pull with that force it shall needed.

when a wrikle gets solved, another comes up.. Aaaaaaaarrrrgggghhhhh.

 

that‘s definitely not my Job.

I just can produce wrinkles like an old man.

 

But ok, the Seat itself is again sealed with a closed skin, so i can deal with it.

I don’t know of an upholstery company that would do that kind of work.  The factory skin was put on using some kind method using heat.

I know this day‘s it‘s hard to find smaller Companies, they be willing to rework older things.

Most look for a quick money or the just specialized to convertible Top‘s or on sofa‘s.

 

I had in the past where i grow friends ( 2 Brothers) they start an upholster Company after their Training,

I remembered them last week while i drove home that Way about 50 km far and decide do a stop to see,

if they still Active until now and how they do, but they sadly wasn‘t at home.

Juergen was a passionate restorer of old Zuendapp‘s, that was his reason to learn handle also a rework of that saddles.

 

He did my Motocycle saddle in the past for my old Zuendapp KS50 in a real whow quality.

He also fixed the foam and reworked it to seat more comfortable, also on longer Rides.

Had this Zuendapp 6Years until i sold it.

After he reworks it, it was better than new and looked even fantastic, but i sadly didn‘t have any Picts of it.

ok that was 36 years ago... 😎 no Digicam‘s or mobilephones with Cam where available at this timeline.

 

Will ask Juergen if he is willing to do that for me, or if he knew a saddler who‘s able to do that for a fair price.

  While mowing the green and verges yesterday, I sensed some vibration, more than usual. I've replaced the anti vibration spacers between engine and wobble plate. After fitting them there was just a trace of vibration.

  When I'd finished mowing I decided to investigate. I found two broken bolts. One LH rear and one RH front. No wonder there was more vibration. I'd no spare bolts, but I do have a quantity of 10mm cap head Alan bolts. They'll do thinks I. I'll remove the cross bars that the wobble plate sits on and re-thread the holes.

  The rear bar came of easily. The front was a different kettle of fish. The bolts were inaccessible due to the front axle. So the tractor was jacked up, wheels removed,tie bars disconnected and axle lowered. I could then get at the bolts with a socket and short extension bar.

  Re-drilling the holes was fun, as I don't have any Vee blocks. Carefully fit in the hand vice and level up with a spirit level. Then tapped them out and re-fitted. Engine of course was still in place, but with a big tyre bar levering the engine up, I got the bars in place. Replace axle, tie bars and wheels. Let the tractor down and then the fun started.

  Using the same method I replaced the spacers and bolts. But would the bolts line up with the holes.. I must have fought on for an hour and wishing I had four hands.

  Had a coffee, sit down and a think. Back to the tractor and then it hit me. Wazack! I'd got the rear cross bar in the wrong holes in the chassis/frame. There's two sets about an inch apart and I'd used the rear ones. The rear bar was to far back.  

  Got the bolts started and then another problem showed up. An Alan key/wrench would not fit due to the close proximity of the heads to engine. That was solved by cutting off about 3/8" off the end of a key. That and a 8mm ratchet ring spanner did the job.

 

 

Started the engine and now back to how it was. Just a slight tingle of vibration.

I always hated Wheel Horses worst ever idea....the anti- anti-vibration  rocker plate engine mount.          It never decreased vibration and only added expense and caused problems.

Well i got the 1980 c-series plow. Picked it up 1.5 hours away this morning. Paid the 160 we agreed on and was on my way. I got it mounted to the tractor. Looks and works great. Let me know if i have it mounted correctly please. Also have a bad gas leak to look into. Need to fix it asap as i use this mower to do other weekly mowing besides my own yard

Put a new locking throttle cable on the 1076. Headlight bucket fell off the C160 while mowing, luckily I didn't run over the lens cover. That's how I knew something was wrong because I saw it laying on the ground with my next pass. The rivets gave out and the screws must have rattled out. It won't happen again, this time I nut and bolted it on. And use a tad larger screws for the cover.

That's what matters.

I use the deck lift bar to lift one of my plows.  I made a slotted bar like the one on the decks,  but if yours lifts w/o binding, it should work.

My other plow I don't use the deck lift bar.  It is connected directly to the rock shaft lift lever via a chain.

 

If you ever need or want down pressure, you would need a solid link bar from the plow to the rock shaft lever.   This is the factory design.

Also replaced  the broken lift cable on the plow mule.. had to take it out for a test run....put a mirror finish on the share... may have to shave in it in the morning

The deck lift bar handles my 48" plow OK.  I have all hydro lifts, so I don't have a feel for the force required.

Some plow frames have an extension bar to the rear with a hole that is directly under the hole in the rock shaft lever.   Thus not using the deck lift bar.    I am sure this direct vertical lift would require less force than using the deck lift bar.   

Sometimes the angle lever can be flipped over to improve clearance with the PTO, or it can be notched, bent and rewelded to clear the PTO.

Bought a spare deck to use on the c-120 yesterday. Only cost $35, so I couldn't get it loaded fast enough. When I got out today I tried spinning the blades by hand to get an idea id the PO ever bothered greasing it. It felt...crunchy. Then I spun it the other direction...not crunchy.

 

I had to do a little investigation so off came the belt cover.

 

 

Guess someone thought I might get hungry working and packed me a lunch!

 

After clearing the meal, I removed and greased the tension bar/pulley, greased the spindles, and hooked it up. Works great, but the leveling foot on the top side wants to pinch the belt when the deck is raised. 

This deck supposedly came from a raider 12 and is supposed to use the side pulley. I'm trying to use the mule drive. Maybe i'm missing something.

Item 19 in this drawing is the rock-shaft. You will see that there are holes just for the snow blade
