28,000 on the SS

Never changed a thing. Tires were replaced, and the battery

Worked on the 520-H. Installed new 1/4" SS heims joints on the motion control new cam plate and new cam. Had almost 1/8" slop in the control  before now there is none.

We are having a wedding reception in our back field this fall.  I’m building a little access road through the overgrowth.  And maybe another food plot next to it.

More progress on the new food plot.  I am amazed at what this sickle mower will eat!  I did however find a tree that tossed the belt.

Well i figured out the reverse mowing system. A seperate key under the seat that must be held in the crank postion the entire time mowing backwards. Not very convenient. Also got it moved to its temporary parking underneath my deck til i get proper watertight storage. At least its out of the sun all day 20200629_202025.jpg.8f674698d9f0bef3468ec2f6a23d8c59.jpg

WHX??

Nothing bad about OCD Johnny... usually means things are done right

Put the go fast pulleys on Cindy's 702 and @Racinbob 's calcs were spot on! This thing goes! Karen (my GPS) said 8 - 10 MPH. No idea on engine rpm ... who cares I was flying!

Bad news lug bolts on left side loose and I KNOW I torqued them to the max specs of 7/16 bolt. May try some loctite or switch to studs? Same thing happened at a show once.

Im thinking hydro next. Or whatever 80s-90s tractor is easiest to fabricate a loader for. Fabrication isnt an issue, hydraulics arent my strong suit though

My 17-44 has that switch as well but you just need to turn it once after the deck is engaged and it is good to go until you disengage the deck.

An indicator light on the dash lights up to tell you this backup while mowing function has been activated.
