Not really. The Novocain injections and the 8 stitches hurt more than the hammer impact. I was squatting when it happened, literally knocked me on my butt.

The Tuul Crib 7,336 #2583 Posted June 29, 2019 IRV got some head lights today . I put in some 1156 LEDs from Amazon on it . and they were really brite! I lined the bezel with HVAC silver tape which seemed to help!

It is a Cherry Bomb, with a Honda Shadow Spirit 750 muffler silencer welded into it. It’s pretty darn quiet actually. Here’s a quick walk around with it running.

I expected it to sound a lot different, but I guess they respond differently to a small single cylinder engine than they do to a big block!
Vinylguy 4,674 #2588 Posted June 29, 2019 Picked up my 312 after lunch with the new 37SD deck mounted and properly leveled. What a difference the new deck and clean carb makes.👍 the picture taken after dark does not do it justice. Cuts beautifully. I loaded up the 857 and hauled it to storage. Thinking I'll keep the 312 for lake front duty and sell the 857. But I love the little square hood too. Hard to part with it.

Lee1977 6,663 #2591 Posted June 29, 2019 (edited) I replaced the out side PTO bearing. It had got so bad It was shaking the deck. The deck has mowed 2+ acres for 41 years so all the lift hardware is loose. I had ordered some spindle bearings many years ago and a bearing with a John Deere no. had got mixed in. I checked it out and found it to be the same bearing as the Wheel Horse no.109842 so I bagged it marked for the PTO. I found it in my box of extra parts, I try it out later today. I also installed new 3/4" C-clips as the old ones were getting lose. Edited June 29, 2019 by Lee1977
ebinmaine 67,566 #2592 Posted June 29, 2019 (edited) Finally got a round tuit. The exhaust is on the cinnamon horse. I used a piece of an old brake band to make a spacer to go between the muffler and the chrome pipe. That extra 20 plus inches of piping makes quite a bit of difference in the sound. It's a lot quieter and sounds more even. Edited June 29, 2019 by ebinmaine
rjg854 11,377 #2593 Posted June 29, 2019 Started cleaning up my Big Show buy, an 877. It didn't have a seat, I managed to find one there, just had to stretch the vynal back around the seat pan and reglue it. It runs dog-gone good and moves well too. No problem with the hill in my driveway. The next project will be cleaning up and painting the wheels. Then doing the same to the wheel weights l bought there too. 3

squonk 41,140 #2595 Posted June 29, 2019 Removed the silly putty from the new 953's fuel pump mounting location to stop oil peeing out. Those front noses in those things are HEAVY!!! 3
AMC RULES 37,130 #2596 Posted June 29, 2019 Sounds like tha same guy must've been working on this little Techy powered RJ I picked up from Ed Kennell at the show. Was going to try to get it running as is until I discovered this carb nightmare semi attached to that motor. I Decided to just swap rhe whole thing out instead using a K-90 I had just sitting in stock. 7
