I used a short piece of bar tock in the slot hitch to lift things. I think at this point I'm going with the newer style mount. I'm going to need everything except the tiller itself to switch to the newer style. If that doesnt fix the belt throwing i may take a match to it. Repaired the sloppy dipstick with "steel on a stick" the maint. Guys at work gave me. We'll see what heat and vibration does. A wire got pushed up, and rubbed against one of the voltage regulator mounting bolts, shorted to ground, and burned both wires to the amp meter, and the one to the cig lighter. I replaced the amp meter wiring, and since I don't smoke and my phone was at about 75% charge I didn't bother with the cig lighter right then, I just pulled the burnt wire up out of the way and finished mowing. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

One of these days when I get less time I intend to do an instructional on rebuilding them. Don't like sand blasting Craig? I would have taken it allpart and blasted.
