Emory likes to use his cart and I thought what better way to protect it and make it last for many more years. Getting it lined and painting it was his birthday present. I figured that was better than something he would grow tired of after a few days or even tear up.

PeacemakerJack 10,738 #329 Posted March 30, 2018 It is getting close to “spring cleaning” here in the Cheddar State notwithstanding the fact that they are talking around 10” of the white stuff in northern Wisconsin over the next 36 hours! So today, we used JackRabbit to pull the wagon and haul some wood related trash back to the burn pit... Zach was loving going for a ride and helping his big brother throw the junk out. I needed to move GhostRider out of the shed again to access some of the stuff that needed to be cleaned out. So, I decided to take my first ever pic of the two tractors together... my favorite photo bombs got in on the action then Judge took GhostRider for a drive around the yard. I need to say here that I really like the seat on JackRabbit. I’m going to reserve full judgment on it until I spend a couple hours mowing with it—if Caleb lets me!!! 7 3

Struck me a bit funny that a kid was in the "junk" trailer...... then I realized the kid and the junk are two separated items. C. If he doesn't "let" you mow ???? ....... WHO CARES !!???!! Let him. .... 😂 1
Slickbilly-D 40 #333 Posted March 30, 2018 I flushed the transmission today on my c-100 and ordered a new shifter boot. Found a block for my 314-8 so I’ll probably be getting started on that next week. 2

tunahead72 2,424 #336 Posted March 31, 2018 Not on MY ice cream!! @Slickbilly-D I believe there's a proper drain plug on the bottom of your transmission.

tunahead72 2,424 #338 Posted March 31, 2018 Sounds good. You may want to consider flushing the transmission with a couple quarts of diesel or kerosene, then driving it around for a few minutes in each gear, before you refill with fresh gear oil. There's other ideas floating around here, search is your friend.

Drained it, flushed with diesel, put two quarts of diesel fuel in it, drove it around, drain, repeat x2, then I put two quarts of 5w30 in it, drove it around, drained. Then it was time to go to work, so I opened the bottle of gear oil, stuck the nipple down in the dip stick hole, poked a hole in the bottom, and left it. I made sure it wasn’t running out before I left, but there was just a small drizzle coming out of the bottle( it was 43 degrees out) I’ll do the second quart tomorrow. I also picked up the front of the tractor and tipped it back pretty far while I drained it each time. All suggestions I gathered from here 3

Lane Ranger 10,968 #342 Posted March 31, 2018 Did some painting yesterday as it was 55 plus degrees in Greencastle, Indiana! Painted an old Jacomson Chief gas tank I am going to use on an RJ rebuild. I had a new longer gas tank filler neck soldered on the tank to extend further above the hood of the RJ! Painted a recoil for an 8 HP Kohler motor I am redoing also. 8

I know about as much about trailers as I know about Slovenian or Farsi..... Is that a battery pack you used to power it up? Where did you obtain it (the jack)? It is especially helpful when trailer is fully loaded. And it has more useable range. i uses a Harbor Freight Jump pack or whatever you call it to test functionality. I need to mount a dedicated battery and wire it in. I got the jack off Amazon. I have Prime membership and an Amazon card that gives me 5% back on prime purchases and some smaller amount for every dollar spent. With all my business travel, I build up quite a bit in credit and I like not having to physically go shopping most of the time. And I loath shopping if I don’t have to. Especially walmart. Unless it’s 24 hour store and I get there really early or very late. Edited March 31, 2018 by Aldon 2

BPEisenhower 535 #349 Posted March 31, 2018 Hello everyone! I just acquired a C195 for free and am in the process of replacing the transmission idler pulley and the PTO idler in front of the steer axle. Can't find any. Is there a cross reference number for either of them? Any help is welcome and appreciated . I have learned a lot from this site and will continue to do so. Many thanks in advance! I loaded 2 pics, my 9 year old son won't let me drive it yet. Long story behind this machine! Enjoy 😊 6
