I think there is still air to purge because I can't get the plow the whole way up. I've found a drill is better than the engine for that though.
stvski80085 79 #22978 Posted February 17 Still working on the mower deck. Almost all pulleys with a bearing had to be replaced. Those are now ordered. Now doing a basic paint job to stop the rust. Want all the moving parts working as they should. Takes a long time but by next weekend I should start putting together. 3

stvski80085 79 #22980 Posted February 17 From a few feet away it looks good. Not a perfect paint job but it's a mower deck so I'm ok with it.

dmoore 938 #22983 Posted February 18 I've had this C-101 (121 now) for 30 years. She's a worker that's had a little work done. Not Joan Rivers type of work but maybe Cindy Crawford
OutdoorEnvy 1,716 #22984 Posted February 19 Well we didn't get the snow we were supposed to get. We have a nice ice glazing that will hang around a few days and got a snow dusting. So decided to have some fun in the 5 degree temps and do some spin outs and figure eights! 4 3

Sparky-(Admin) 21,772 #22988 Posted Friday at 05:47 PM On my 520-8 project: Got the transmission input shaft seal in (2nd attempt, destroyed the first seal )…installed fuel tank supports (still waiting on my fuel tank to be shipped).. carefully removed a wire harness from a “doner” tractor that originally had a Magnum 10 that I will blend with the 520’s Onan harness when I land the Kohler Magnum on it. 9

After all, Sparky is your name so no doubt you'll live up to that. LOL Bring a strap so I can tow you back to base camp at the Zag show!

Found this interesting little tidbit. @ebinmaine It must have been in Portland or down that way as I don’t recognize any of the restaurants as being in Waterville or Augusta. But it did take place six years before I was born…..😁
stvski80085 79 #23000 Posted Sunday at 02:19 AM (edited) Replaced a bearing and started putting back together after paint. I ordered a new tension pulley but it’s like an inch bigger and won’t work. Was rubbing the belt wierd so in need to look for another. Original is back on for now. New belt also. Wheel horse 7434 I ordered from wheel horse parts vendor but I am thinking it has a different part number then the manual. The one they sent is too big.
