I can't fill the fluid, because I can't find the pointy bottle cap

Still technically a win if you're not mopping up the floor.

Eh, I found it.

I think there is still air to purge because I can't get the plow the whole way up. I've found a drill is better than the engine for that though.

Still working on the mower deck. Almost all pulleys with a bearing had to be replaced. Those are now ordered. Now doing a basic paint job to stop the rust.  Want all the moving parts working as they should.  Takes a long time but by next weekend I should start putting together.

Looks great so far.

From  a few feet away it looks good.  Not a perfect paint job but it's a mower deck so I'm ok with it.

I've had this C-101 (121 now) for 30 years. She's a worker that's had a little work done. Not Joan Rivers type of work but maybe Cindy Crawford:lol:

Not enough to justify a startup.  Drive right through.

Appreciate that…but I wanted one with a fuel sending unit so I can use the fuel gauge in the dash.

A Dorman 55818 can be used in place of the original sending unit.

Good to know, bought a used 520 tank off FB Marketplace that hopefully works.

HA, Look for the magic smoke and all of the black spots after you're done when troubleshooting the wiring issues! :ychain:

After all, Sparky is your name so no doubt you'll live up to that. LOL :scared-shocked: Bring a strap so I can tow you back to base camp at the Zag show!

I sat and scanned through the rest of the Michael Martino book this morning.

Straight from the Horses Mouth.

Found this interesting little tidbit.
