peter lena 8,933 #22806 Posted January 19 @Handy Don recently added my bush vacuum rotor weight , to rear hitch area , definitely helps with grip , just remove the hitch ball , bolt on the angle steel slide base , use the hand lever ratchet , chain hoist to lower in place , just grease the slot you are going to slide on , slight movement , makes it slide into a size to size snug fit , have same set up on my ,lawn aerators , pete wit

I just put on the chains (2-link). If, after some trial runs this winter, it looks like extra weight will be needed, I’ll either fill the tires or put weights in the wheels (or both). midpack 925 #22816 Posted January 20 I managed to fix the actuator switch on the electric lift on my snowblower machine. When I was prepping the machine for the storm we're having the toggle switch decided not to work in the "up" direction. I disassembled the switch, cleaned the contacts, reassembled it, plugged it in and viola! I always thought the original switches were hard to find and expensive if they gave out, but they're really pretty simple to repair 7

Handy Don 12,874 #22818 Posted January 20 Made it go out in the cold and plow snow for the first time in my possession! The “revived” BD-4263 blade did just fine although I can see that I’ll definitely want to remove the slop in the pivot quadrant come springtime. The weight of one “large tall” operator plus the chains was plenty adequate and there was no lack of oomph to push aside 6” of dense (but not wet) snow. 0D2A13BB-E6FA-46E2-B042-88430FE52C27.heic 4

ebinmaine 69,280 #22825 Posted January 20 (edited) @702854boy Did any of the 647 answers above narrow down your question? Here on our acreage Trina and I started out with a B80 for me back in late 2016. Soon after she got a 657. From then it was a fast rolling downhill snowball effect. At this point she has 5 tractors, I have at least 9 (I honestly don't know) and we share one. The Wally Digger Backhoe. Addiction? Nehhh.....
